Cape May or Ft. Wilderness for Breakfast

Cape May Cafe for The Character Breakfast is great and the food selection is Lovely. We also quite enjoy the more relaxed breakfast at Trails End but there are no characters and the buffet itself is a bit less than Cape May Cafe
Are you using Dining Plan Credits ? Trails End is quite inexpensive so I wouldn't waste Credits on that, just pay out of pocket.
Also would make my choice depending on which Park I was going to after Breakfast, Cape May Cafe on an Epcot or Hollywood Studios Day and Trails End on a Magic Kingdom Day. We like to cut down on transportation time as much as possible

Cape May for the charaters if this is a wise use of DP credits for you. Ft. Wilderness for price if you are paying cash.

But really, breakfast is the hardest meal to coordinate with travel times. I would only do either one if that was where you were going to be starting or if it was going to be really, really easy to get from there to your park/activity of choice for the morning.

Cape May for food, characters, and ambience Fort Wilderness is cheaper, has less food choices and next to 0 ambience. We used to eat there all the time for breakfast, but the price has gone up and the selections have gone down. We started going there when they first opened. The food is good - will admit that - just not equal to the price IMO to what you get at Cape May for the difference

I would choose Cape May for sure.
