Right now I have Chef Mickey's booked for breakfast. We tried dinner last trip and loved seeing the characters but would probably like the food at breakfast better.

The main reason we do character meals is so DD can get her autograph book signed while we eat some pancakes and hashbrowns instead of waiting in character lines. We will also be at Ohana which we loved last trip.

So we will see Mickey and Pluto at Ohana. The rest of the fab five should be covered at Cape May right? Is Cape May as fun as Chef Mickey's? It will be a free day so it doesn't matter about going to CR vs. BC.

Thanks!

Yes -- Cape May is fun, and the space is airy; somehow it seems to us a little less hectic than Che Mickey's. Definitely go ahead and give it a try!

(And although they hold the right to change up the character line-up, we've seen Minnie, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy there.)

Breakfast at Ohana and Cape May should cover the Fab 5 and from our experience are much better breakfast choices than Chef Mickey's.

Cape May definitely!
The food is good, the restaurant is beautiful, and it is quiet. Wonderful service, too.

I would agree w pps about cape may. it seems to be a calmer atmosphere and the food is good. We ate there last year for b'fast.

We really enjoyed Cape May for breakfast. As previously posted we found it to be much more relaxed than Chef Mickey's. The character interactions were not at all rushed. we are planning to eat there again next time we take the grandkids.

I've done both. I preferred Chef Mickey's. BUT our Cape May experience was fine too.....it was just something like 30 degrees and it was so ridiculous to see the characters in beach getup. THe food was pretty similar.....it IS calmer at CApe May but we a lot more FUN at Chef Mickey's.

ive never done chef mickeys but we really enjoyed cape may - seeing the characters in their beach ware is a riot - we saw minnie donald and goofy

Can anyone tell me what the "better breakfast choices" are at CMC? In my experience, the breakfast buffets have always had pretty much the same menu options. So what makes CMC any better? And I'm not wondering about quality. PP mentioned choices.
