I have not seen lots of recent comments on this one. This is the last one I added to my adr's and it is putting me a bit over what I was planning but thinking we could change some things around. Is this place worth it? We have only done the breakfast years ago.

Kids like fried shrimp but noticed that is only on certain nights, is that right? I like the idea of the ambiance etc and I absolutely love crab legs. So was hoping to get my seafood fix here.

Still waffling on this one though.

I looooove the Cape May seafood buffet! IMO, it's definitely worth it!

Was there just in May. DH eats seafood and I do not. I mean nothing. No shellfish no fish, nothing and I had plenty to eat and I thought it was good. A bit on the pricey side but DH can eat mine and his share of crab legs so it was worth it. There were plenty of non-seafood options and lots that I would consider kid friendly. Just my opinion from a recent visit but I would go back again.

I loved it last November. I think they have some form of shrimp all the time. There was a nice selection for us! Everything was fantastic, including service. You can call disney dining when closer to the trip and they can tell you what is scheduled if it really matters. ...I mean come on CRAB LEGS!! How can you lose

I don't eat seafood. My DH, DS, and DD love it. There were three kinds of shrimp and crab legs when we were there. The family was very happy. I found the non-seafood dishes to be only OK. The desserts were delicious, though. I primarily ate dessert for dinner that night! So, it was a thumbs up from everyone.

We really like Cape May. We are seafood lovers, but there is plenty of other food. This is one of our favorite places. I cancelled it last year so we could go to Minnie's Holiday Dine at H&V and I thought DH was going to stage a rebellion.

We just went there in May, and it was great - now, is it the best quality seafood ever? Probably not. But they had mussels, plenty of crab legs, clams, fish, and more. We went on a night they had calamari, and that was the only thing I didn't care for. A little frustrating since I'd been hoping it would be good, but it was too salty for me. The non-seafood stuff was also really nice - the mashed potatoes were great, salad selection was nicely varied, and they even had a selection of cheeses. The desserts were also very good - we focused on the "signature" ones, not the ones on the main buffet, which were mostly cookies and other stuff that appeals more to kids or perhaps pickier eaters.

Plus, they do have an AP discount, so it was not as crazy as it could have been. We definitely felt like it was worth it, and we had fabulous service as well!

My husband and I love seafood, so I surprised him with a reservation here on our last trip. We loved it! They have more kid-friendly options for the picky ones, so the kids were happy. And the crab legs were fantastic!

We loved it last year. The kids eyes were huge when they were told they could eat all the shrimp and crab they wanted (they all LOVE seafood). Think it was actually cheaper than when we ate at joe's crab shack in 2014. Think Cape May probably lost money on my kids last year LOL.

I've heard a few people mention a "clam bake". Is this something only offered on certain nights, or a different special dining event outside of the normal reservation?

We are planning I'm eating here next trip. We had to cancel our ADRs here last time. Excited to hear the good reviews! :cool1:

we are staying at yacht club and heard great things about this breakfast buffet. DH and DS1 LOVE seafood so would like to try a dinner here. do you think it's one that you would need an ADR??

This has become a 'Must Do' every trip, we have 2 ADRs this Oct. Twice we were able to get a seating for 2 as walk ups, had a Pinot Grigio at the bar and we were in.

It was one of my favorite meals during the entire trip. The crab legs are great, but so are the shrimp, mussels, clams, etc. The kids loved it too. They wanted to return on our upcoming trip. I would not hesitate to book dinner here.

It appears that they only have crab legs certain nights of the week? That would be the only reason we would go. Does anyone know how accurate the days of the week for crab legs are?

This has been go-to pick for my family for years.

The steamed clams and crab legs are the obvious draw, but I always enjoy the salads, ribs, soup and desserts.

I was pretty sure they had crab legs every night. It was some other the other stuff that rotated (calamari, friend shrimp, pastas).
