Cape May Dinner?

I'm considering making an ADR for Cape May for dinner on our January WDW vacation. My family loves seafood and we are on the dining plan for this trip. Do the seafood options change during the week? We are wanting to feast on some crab legs. Does Cape May have crab legs every night, or would I need to plan to be there a certain night of the week? Thanks!

We've been to Cape May 3 times for dinner and thought the food was very good all 3 times. We have it booked again for our November trip. I'm not a huge fan of Crab Legs because I am a lazy eater, but the other seafood choices were good. DH really liked the mussels.

It has been a long time since we went so maybe things have improved. The seafood selections were very limited and what was there was not cooked well. The clam chowder was grainy. The crab legs were cold and tough to crack. The shrimp was flavorless and the fish was overcooked. We both felt queasy afterwards. I know some people love it so we may have gone on a bad night. They serve different kinds of seafood on different nights so you might want to check an online menu to make sure you go on a night that has your favorites: http://allears.net/dining/menu/cape-may-cafe/dinner
Seafood Selections - Steamed Mussels with Tomato Fennel Broth, Fried Clam Strips, Paella (Sun, Mon, Wed, Thurs & Sat), Bacalao (Tues & Fri), Snow Crab Legs, Steamed Clams, Herb-Marinated Salmon, Batter-Fried Shrimp (Sun & Wed), Batter-Fried Calamari (Tue & Fri), Fried Cod Nuggets (Mon, Thurs & Sat)

My extended family (sisters, brother, in-laws, teenage and early 20s nieces/nephews) went to Cape May last fall. We loved it!

A quick caveat. As much as I personally enjoyed it, it's not a 'must' for me simply because as good as the food was, I can get good seafood throughout the year. I grew up in Louisiana (and visit frequently, going to the Gulf coast at least once per year) and live near the coast in the Mid-Atlantic region (and can get really good seafood here as well). Given that, when I'm WDW on trips that usually last 5 to 6 nights, I prefer to spend my dining money/time at places that are more unique to me personally.

Our experience: the crab legs were plentiful, flavorful, juicy, meaty, and perfectly cooked (not cold at all). Everything else on the buffet was excellent (seafood and non-seafood options). Dessert was fantastic. Service was really good. We were seated not long after our ADR time, on a busy weekend, and had a fairly large party. It was a good experience. We left STUFFED.

My entire family (all who are able to get really good seafood regularly) loved the meal.

We're planning another large family trip this fall, and are staying at BC. We don't have an ADR for Cape May (because we want to try a few new places and are able to get good seafood at home). However, we have a few free nights without ADRs and given as we'll be at BC, some of us have said that if Cape May can accommodate us, we'll definitely go if able.
