We will be at Disney World 11/27 - 12/3 I have dinner reservations at Cape May and lunch reservations at Teppan Edo and need to cancel one of them. We have several teppanyaki style restaurants near where we live and my daughters love them. We also live on the Gulf Coast, so we are near seafood as well, but not really very many clams or muscles. The kids love seafood too (they love pretty much any food). I think I'm leaning more towards Cape May, but my husband has a thing for Japan. Which would you choose and why?

Tough one, but I will say Teppan Edo because I really don't care for buffets. Especially during the winter season with colds/flus going around - just seems likes it would be a breeding ground!

Seriously, though - Teppan Edo is a fun time - the food was terrific - wasn't sure how we would enjoy sitting with another family (I think it's 8 to a hibachi), but it was really a good time!

The food was really good - a bit salty - but still very good!

I you are near good seafood take my word from someone being from NE CM seafood is all farm raised, the shrip were the size of my little fingernail and not even deveined, the rest of the seafood was just as bad, I didn't eat a thing comlained and they just charged us for a shilds plate, I would of prefered a McDonalds hamburger for supper that night :santa:

My vote is for Teppan Edo too! I was disappointed with the clams and mussels at Cape May. I too am not a fan of buffets. We have eaten at Teppan Edo many times and have never been disappointed.

Ooooh - hard choice! I've done both and loved them equally. But if I had to pick, I guess I would go with Teppan Edo for the freshness of just-cooked hot food.

I've never done TE, but we LOVE Cape May. We have another ADR for CM in November and can't wait! (and I'm not a seafood lover, but my dh is!) :thumbsup2
