We will be staying at the Beach Club. Has anyone done this dinner buffet? All opinions are welcome please. :flower:

For years I have read both good and bad on this place. We've eaten there 4 or 5 times and weren't too crazy about it any of the times we went. I kept hearing people rave about it so we kept giving it a try. We usually stay at BC which is another reason we go back (convenience). Why aren't we crazy about it? The variety is good but some of the food ends up overcooked like the shrimp. The seafood tends to get chewy.

We have also eaten there several times, mostly for convenience. When the kids were a couple years younger, a buffet was just easier for dinner. The first time we ate there, we thought it was great. The next it was ok. Then not as impressive. The food is ok, and the shrimp is overcooked, probably hard not to be when so much has to be served. We just ended up eating there too many times. It does have a nice variety of other foods than just seafood, along with a nice section for the kids. Also a nice variety in the dessert section. I think if your not expecting great seafood, it is a good choice for a meal.

We eat there on a regular basis. At $24.95 for adults, and $10.99 for children, it is one of the most reasonably priced places to eat on property. So far, in roughly 12 to 15 times there over the last 15 or so years, we have yet to see any problems with the food. Go to allearsnet.com and check out the menu.

We've been there once and we liked it but we weren't overly thrilled. It was just so-so on out list.

We eat there when there is a event at the convention center... We never had a problem with is.. The food is good...

Aloha! :wave2:
We LOVE it! It's one of our annual "must-do's"! We love Disney buffets and for us 2 adults and our teen DS, it is more relaxing than the (PLEASE don't flame me!) character buffets. Having said that, we start EVERY visit with dinner at LTT, a tradition started by DS 15 years ago and we LOVE that, too! Cape May HAS reduced number of dessert offerings over the years...I believe they are down to just 5 or 6 from 10 or so...not enough to diminish the experience! Pretty setting and presentation and great CMs, also! We don't expect gourmet-level food at ANY buffet...but Cape May offers great variety and we've never had a bad dish. Hope this helps! Have fun! :earsgirl:

We've eaten there probably 4-5 times and liked it every time. 2 of thise times were breakfast. The dinner is good, but it's not gourmet. I think of it more like regular buffets (which I hate), but secveral notches higher. If you are looking for something more upscale CMC isn't the place to go.

We, Myself, DH, DS, ate there 2 years ago and we were disappointed in the food. As others have said, the seafood was overcooked and chewy. Some items were good, but they happened to be the things just replaced on the buffet. We had eaten here years ago and were very pleased. I was looking forward to this dinner and I was disappointed.
The setting is nice, and the CM's friendly.
All said, we won't be going back for dinner.
