The Disney site has listed the dinner buffet at Cape May as having crab legs. I do not remember this when we ate there in 2009. Is this something new?

When we were there in Dec 2010 they had them, and may I add they were VERY good. That was one of the first places I wrote down as a must do for my October trip.:thumbsup2

Yes there there.. Only thing that rotate is listed next to day selected.

They had them October 2009 when we were there on a Friday night. We tend to go there on Fridays for the selection of fish:banana:

I hope so I've never been but we booked an ADR for our next trip mainly cuz of the crab legs

I think they just started to have them later on in 2009 (Maybe in the fall??). Our server in May 2010 told us that they were a new addition within the past couple of months.

Love Cape May Cafe!

We were there in Dec 09 and they had them then. They started in late summer /early fall 2009 as a permanent buffet offering

Are the steamed clams really only Sunday and Friday?

Cape May was our favorite buffet from our last trip. It's the only place we are repeating from our previous vacation. Super yummy and the desserts were excellent too!!!

We went to Cape May for dinner this past Wednesday night (April 6). It was absolutely disgusting. We'd been before and had nothing but wonderful things to say, however, this time it was just gross. There were no snow crab legs - they were replaced that night with dungeness crab legs. Tried a claw and they didn't taste quite right. Tasted like they'd been near ammonia. Same with the fried shrimp.

I truly, truly hope we caught them on a bad night and that this is NOT the norm. We were so disappointed - we had such a great meal there in October but this...was just not good. Definately not up to the expectations they had met before.
