Can you tell me what you thought of it?

I've been there for breakfats, and loved it, but not for dinner. We're looking for a place for dinner on our 1st night there. We'll be staying at YC and we're looking for somehting close by that would be good, but not too expensive.

It's one of my favorite buffets for breakfast or dinner. Although, I wouldn't call it cheap. I think the prices for the buffets (especially if you have older children) are a bit pricey!

Oh... I don;t think it's cheap either! I was just saying it's less expensive then going to Yacthsman Steakhouse or Flying fish. I'm just looking for a good , filling, sit down meal (we'll be traveling all day to get there- no good food at the airport or on the plane) that won't cost me an arm and a leg in that BC/YC general vicinity.

It's a great choice! We were there last year and have a ADR for our upcoming trip!:thumbsup2

IMHO the Cape May clambake and the Hollywood & Vine dinner buffet seem to be the two TS meals that draw the widest range of opinion.

Personally, our family didn't enjoy the clambake. We don't live on the coast so we don't necessarily have high expectations for seafood, but on the night we ate there we didn't think it even measured up to the type of seafood buffet you'll see at a Golden Corral. Maybe we just caught it on a bad night.

We've done the Cape May Buffet twice - the first was just after the BCV opened and we loved it so much, we tried it again our last time down. We were really disappointed - the clams were lukewarm and very fishy tasting. The sliced beef (prime rib? can't remember) was very well done and tough.

On the positive side, the clam chowder and salad bar were awesome!!

Maybe it was an off-nite - but we've decided not to go there this time around.

We've been to Cape May Cafe MANY times (it is my father's FAVORITE place since he grew up in Cape May, NJ) and we really enjoy it. We have had "off" dining experiences there, but most of the time it is top notch! :thumbsup2
ENJOY!

We have also enjoyed our meals there. I don't eat clams, though. The shrimp were a little small (mormal WDW shirmp size) but the mussels were very good! I also liked the BBQ ribs.

we loved it there! but we didn't eat any sea food. i have some pasta and salads that were really good. the food there is very fresh, the cooks are always on top of what needs replacing. it is the only buffett i will eat it. i normally don't like buffetts but this one is not only good but very clean as well.

The food is good, even if you don't eat the seafood. I can fill up on the ribs (fall off the bone tender), pasta dish, salad choices, corn chowder, and the dessert options are great. It is a bit pricey (about 25 dollars a person) but but good.

This place gets a huge two thumbs up from us, we love it there!

I LOVED the dinner buffet at Cape May! There is always something 4 the whole family 2 enjoy! On 1 side it is seafood on the other American! They also have a kids bar with chicken strips and things like that. Hope this helps!:cool1:

We were at the YC last week and we had dinner at ESPN Club one night. We really enjoyed it. The food was good quality and it's probably the cheapest sit-down restaurant on property! Just throwing it out there... :thumbsup2

We ate there Saturday night. We got there around 7:45 and waited only about 10 minutes for a table. It's not fancy food by any means, but it was good. DH and I both commented that it was one of the best meals we'd had all week! We had cheeseburgers and chicken wings. It's your basic sports bar fare. The chicken wings are out of this world good. I've had them there twice now and they're nice and big and meaty.

Here's the menu from allears:

If you're looking for some good, basic food at decent prices my family would hightly recommend it!

Have fun at the Yacht Club! I'm so jealous! We had a great time there and I can't wait to go back someday. The free upgrade to concierge wasn't bad either! :thumbsup2

We ate there once and will never return. It was just nasty but we are from the Eastern Shore and are surrounded by really good seafood. We did like ESPN for pub fare, Rose and Crown, and Spoodles. All in the same area and price range.
