We went here on our trip in March and loved it. I think you can make your PS 120 days out- according to our PassPorter book you can. Anyway, there were no characters at dinner. We had 5 people in our party- 3 adults and two kids (ages 5 and 20 months) and everyone loved it. My mother in law and my husband loved the seafood (clams and shrimp)and clam chowder, while I loved the ribs and salmon. There were lots of veggies and salads to choose from- cole slaw, fruit salad, regular salad, pasta salads, steamed squash (yum), roasted potatoes, corn on the cob. Then there was a pasta dish with seafood, some sort of stir fried beef, rice, prime rib, pork ribs, rolls, soups. The kids buffet (Which anyone can eat from) had chicken strips, mini hot-dogs, mac and cheese and fish nuggets. The dessert buffet was way better than Chef Mickeys (the other buffet we went to)- they didn't have ice cream (like CM's) but they had TONS of different cakes, pies, cookies, apple cobbler with whipped cream, donuts---which someone on here said they were Krispy Kremes---I don't know but my kids thought it was awesome to have a donut for dessert. A soft drink or iced tea/coffee is included in the price, and our waitress brought carafes of it so we didn't have to track her down to ask for refills. She was very, very sweet and friendly- ask for Linda!

Also, I think the price was $23.99- it had just gone up $2 than what was advertised on Deb's site. It was 9.99 for our 5 year old and the baby was free (under 3 is free I believe).
Oh, one more thing- before our PS time, we walked over to the Boardwalk, so it is definitely within walking distance of the Boardwalk Villas. It's maybe a 10-15 minute walk. Have fun! It's on our "must go back" list.
