How is it? What did you like/dislike about it?
Thanks!

We enjoy it. It is not the best seafood you can get, it is a buffet. But, the price is right and the selections are great. There is a carving station. The shrimp is ok but DH likes the clams and mussels. I like the salmon. The mashed potatoes and corn on the cob is good and so is the corn bread. DS likes the ribs, chicken, and pizza. There are several salad choices and 2 soups. The green beans were really good last week. Save room for dessert. I like the oreo cookie dessert and the flan.

I LOVE this meal.... They have so much to choose from and everything is FRESH!!! The night that we went, they were offering a plate of crab legs for $10.00 extra. I couldn't believe when they brought the plate out, there were 5 clusters of crab legs on it! It was soooooo much food! And they were even BETTER than the crab legs I had at Fultons one night (get Fulton's on a good night and it is outstanding, but get it on a bad night and :crazy2: )! Anyway, Cape May has great soups, a hugh salad bar, and everything from meats and clams to pizza and chicken fingers. For the quality of food, we think it's one of the best deals on property! Try it!!!

If you have access to fresh seafood and fish where you live you will likely be disappointed. If the best seafood in town is red lobster, then you will think its pretty good by comparison.

IMO, Seafood is not the easiest thing to do well in a buffet format. Even the famed Rio buffet in vegas is pretty mediocre by my standards. I'd just rather order good quality fresh prepared stuff and sacrifice the variety and quantity of a buffet.

Some people in our party liked it, particularly the kids. It seems popular so waits can be long and it does get busy/noisy so if you want to unwind after a day at the parks, it might not be best.

Just one opinion tho.

Very good salads

Clams and mussels are okay. My son loves them but he is part raccoon.

The desserts are great. They are second only to Fresh at the Dolphin in terms of buffet desserts. I especially like the Flan with berries.

What we like most about this buffet is that everyone (but me) love clams!!! But to me there is so much more on there that you really can't go wrong. We go there every other year. There are so many awesome places to eat that you can't eat at every place everytime. I hope you enjoy!!! We will be going back there this fall!!! :cool1:

Really great to hear this. I made ADR's for Cape May last week for our September trip because my mom LOVES clams and hardly has an opportunity to order them.

I'm not all that picky when it comes to seafood (other than lobster- I grew up in the Northeast and I won't touch anything other than fresh Maine lobster :p ). That's the main reason I refuse to walk into a Red Lobster- they don't even serve fresh lobster!

I'm excited to hear that others have liked it. It was the one restaurant on our list that I hadn't heard much about. Thanks! :goodvibes

We tried the clam bake for the 1st time on our last trip and were pleasantly surprised. Everyone really enjoyed it. As the previous posters stated, there's a large selection of food - not just seafood. We had early ADR's because we were going to Cirque that night & the food was fresh and well prepared. We're planning on doing this one again our next trip. :thumbsup2

I love seafood, but not raw seafood. I really like baked clams- are these on the buffet? Do the steamed clams and mussels has a good, cooked taste, or are they more like sushi? Are the ribs the same as the ones they have at Chef Mickey's?
TIA!
