Has anyone done it? Was it worth it?

Where is the search feature on this site now?

We were there on Thanksgiving morning this past Nov. The restaurant was not crowded at 8:30 am. There was nothing out of the ordinary on the buffet, your basic breakfast offerings. The food was plentiful, hot and fresh. No complaints.

The characters came around a lot, spent a bit more time with my boys than we expected. Goofy played matchbox cars with my DS2 and then returned to sit next to my DS5 and color with him.

It was a wonderful way to spend Thanksgiving morning. :thumbsup2

We'd return next time we're staying at an Epcot resort. I wouldn't go out of my way to get there otherwise.

There is a thread somewhere that says they are having issues with the "search" feature since the maintenance the other night and they are working to correct it.

Yes, we did Cape May last year and really enjoyed it (just wish we would have gone a little earlier as I think they were not replenshing some of the items when we got there at 10:30). Minnie, Goofy and, at the time, Chip & Dale, spent a lot of time at each table. They made a big deal out of my best friend's birthday and my DH's and my 25th anniversary. The food was very good. CP remains our favorite, but Cape May now is in second.

We were there about 5 weeks ago, 11 of us for breakfast. The restaurant was 3/4 empty, we were seated as we walked up to the podium, service was excellent (had a great CM). The food was okay, nothing special (we enjoyed the food much much more at CP and Tusker on this same trip) but the buffet was clean, organized, plentiful and food was hot.

Character interaction was very good. It took forever before any characters came at all (considering the place was at least 80% empty) but the interaction, once each arrived, was very good. Each character went around our entire large table, took pics with each person. We were 10 adults and one child so we were not expecting the interaction with all of the adults. Minnie didn't stay as long but we could hardly get rid of Goofy and Donald. :lmao:

It is my favorite character meal in the "world". We've always had great service and character interaction there.

We had breakfast there 3 weeks ago and it was the first character meal of our trip. The buffet had the usual - fruit, muffins and assorted hot dishes. Nothing out of the ordinary, dining-wise, but we were there for the characters ... we met Goofy, Minnie and Donald. My girls had a great time!

We have been there many times and we love it! It is a must do for us when we stay at one of the Epcot resorts. Click on my Oct link for a ton of buffet pics

Absolutely loved it. My family is so-so when it comes to breakfast but this is a definate must for us at least once for each future trip. I'll try to get you a few pics from May/June of 2008.

We were there last Friday and it was one of our favorite meals. It was relaxing and not overly crowded. My husband loves lox and capers and probably ate in weight in them. Yes the food is standard breakfast fare, but it's hot, fresh and yummy. They had a very nice assortment of fruit which I loved. The characters came around multiple times and spent a lot of time at each table. And, it was about 10 bucks less per person than the park breakfasts.

Goofy snuck up on the youngest

Chip came over to say hi. Youngest went for cover under the table.

Personally, I liked the breakfast food there alot. The omlete was out of this world and the CM's were awesome. Personally, when we booked the dinners this yr, we were booking experiences with the kids, the food is just a bonus. All in all, I'd be pretty upset if we went again and didn't do breakfast there. It's schedualed for the last day of our trip this yr, kinda like a special goodbye for the kids (and me.)

(I'll spell check later on after work tonight!)

Chip and Dale are no longer there.
We went 2 weeks ago for the first time and I think it's the best breakfast buffet we have tried so far. We saw Goofy, Minni (twice) and Donald. We had a later ADR and there was plenty of food and it was still being replenished. We had a not very attentive waitress though, who didn't check back for drinks till I flagged her and asked for more. But the food was awesome.

Excellent. I think I stumbled on a hidden gem. I wasn't expecting anything special with the food, just good character interactions, which it looks like I will get. That is all that really matters for me.

Thanks.

I agree it's one of the best character breakfast, we ate there in October for the first time ever. The food was excellent as well as the service. The characters were great too, a lot more interaction then at CP and CM. They have Donald Duck now instead of Chip & Dale, DS was a bit disappointed since I told him Chip and Dale were there.

I was looking forward to seeing Chip:mad: I'm pretty bumbed out now.....oh well, it's still worth it and one of my favs!
