Cape May - Can anyone help with reviews?

I was looking for another place to have breakfast when we have FD in Nov, with characters. Then saw Cape May(called Goofy's Beach Club Breakfast at Allears) with Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale in their beach outfits! Yay! So, don't know anything about this place. Can anyone help with reviews of the buffet, characters(for two adults, myself and DD18, lol), theme, how hard is it to get to, etc? Already going to CM for dinner and thinking of something different than CP, and already have O'hana's character breakfast booked for one day. Also, we will be looking for a late breakfast, so wondering if the characters stick around awhile or leave right at eleven? Thanks!

breakfast is standard buffet, dinner is seafood buffet. You can find food of this caliber at a lot of buffiterias everywhere. Character interaction is avg.

We stayed at BC last summer for a week and DD17 loved the breakfast there!! She loved it so much, we did it several days in a row and still go back there even when not staying at BC. The food was great. It was fresh and the right temperature. The set up is great and CMC has something for everyone. I don't eat yogurt, but DD17 and DS18 do. They have a large yogurt bar so they had a blast with that. They have all the normal breakfast items as well as the Mickey waffles and a fruit bar.

The service was great and the characters seem to have more time to visit at CMC. You know how stuffy teens are and how they can't have too much fun or they get embarassed. This place brought out the fun in my teens. I had my two as well as DD's BFF and they had a blast. We took a lot of great pictures with the characters. Even DH, who does not like to go to WDW, had a great time with the characters!!

There is white paper on the tables and crayons to write with. We wrote notes about each other ("silly", "hard-head", "goofy") and arrows pointing to who it was about on the paper and the server had a blast picking on each of us. Even the characters got into it!!!

Although not our favorite characater breakfast, we did Cape May this year. We enjoyed it and saw all the characaters (although it did take a long time).However, be aware. Chip and Dale are NO longer there. Donald Duck has replaced them.

Can't comment on breakfast...DInner was awesome though.Our favorite meal the whole trip.

love it. we love cape may cafe cb. the food is always good and replenished to keep it fresh. any breakfast food you could want and more. the characters there seem to enjoy the guests and spend a lot of good time with each person. we found this cb best of all.

the cb at gf is also extremely nice altho not guite as relaxed. mary poppins, alice, tigger, the mad hatter. all great.

our first character breakfast was at ak, i don't think they do that one anymore. it was wonderful. mickey, minnie, goofy, donald, and daisy.

We did Cape May two times last week for breakfast. It was good both times and my son loved the Mickey Waffles. It was relatively easy to get in and out of in a good time frame too!

i love the bfast there. It is always fresh and hot, the granola and fruit bat is fantastic and a healthy choice. If you go ask for dorothy she is amazing!!

We ate there in Sept. and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is a nautical theme and quite. The food was very good. Great atmosphere. The characters actually came around twice while we were there.

We loved the breakfast at Cape May....we saw Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale last month. I have a bunch of pictures in my trip report if you wanna take a look! (And a review...)

However, be aware. Chip and Dale are NO longer there. Donald Duck has replaced them.

We are headed there on 10/25. Are there only 3 characters now -- Minnie Goofy and Donald??? Just wondering if Chip/Dale not being there is permanent or a one time replacement. Anyone else been there recently?

DH and I had dinner there last trip. This was a seafood buffet which featured mussels and clams, plus a lot of other non-seafood items. We plan on doing it again. Really liked it.

i did not mention cape may at dinner. i avoided that restaurant in the evening for a long time because of the clams and muscles that i do not eat. when i finally did go for dinner it was so wonderful that we go back at every chance. it is overall one of our disney world favorits, just as the bcv are. we even prefer the little gift shop at the bc to all others. the cms at bc are the absolute best!
