Cape May Cafe

I am trying to plan a characer breakfast on a day we plan to just "hang out" at the hotel at the pool.
We are booked at Caribbean Beach resort for out upcoming trip.

Has anyone been to Cape May and if so, did you like it? I also plan on taking a taxi to and from. Any idea how the cost?

My family enjoyed breakfast at Cape May last summer. There were only three characters (Donald, Goofy and Minnie) but each came around twice. It seemed very relaxed compared to other character meals that I have been to. I thought that the food was really good.

We went 2 years ago and we not really crazy about it. At that time Chip, Dale, Goofy, and Minnie were there. The characters are always fun, but the breakfast was so-so.

Yes it is very relaxed. We love CMC... we have been multiply times for both breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere is really nice and the service excellent. The food is always hot and fresh. I have never seen empty platters sitting on the buffet they replenish things often. On our last visit there we felt that the server was so good that we left a larger tip.

We love the Cape May breakfast! It has one of the largest breakfast buffets in WDW and the food is wonderful! I also like the character interaction and the more relaxed atmosphere then at most character meals. We've taken cabs around property and with tip it usually runs around $15

The breakfast at Cape May is great. They have a nice selection with some different items like smoked salmon, roasted asparagus and a really good breakfast pizza.
I would definitely recommend it!

We went last year. The pace was much slower and quieter than the other character breakfasts that we have been to. DD loved seeing Minnie, Donald and Goofy in their swimwear. Food was pretty good too.

I have to agree with the others that it is a more relaxing character breakfast than the others we have done (CP and CM). The food is typical breakfast buffet fare but they also had a pretty extensive yogurt parfait bar when we were there. We really enjoyed it - we did it on our last day (non park day) when we stayed at BC and YC.

We like this one...Large selection of food...Characters look so cute in their beach clothes...Very relaxing as far as character meals go...We usually go every other trip...

Taxi should be no more than $15...I was thinking around $12...Good idea for the a relaxind AM trip.
