Went on Friday night...5 minutes after we sat down DS12 asked if we could go again! It's so worth the trip. I am on Weight Watchers and was easily able to stick to my plan - I was very impressed with the variety and healthy options! The fish of the day was supposed to be cod but they ran out and substituted salmon - bonus! They had NINE different types of veggies, the steamed green beans were amazing...they have a separate section for kids with chicken nuggets, mickey mac n cheese and peas & carrots...TONS of fresh cut fruit, 3 different types of salads, and the roasted chicken was soooo good. Mashed potatoes were too lumpy for my taste but that's just a personal preference.
DS12 got something called a "lava smoothie" - virgin pina colada with raspberry puree - he was in heaven.
The mussels and clams are plentiful, they have little silver buckets for them, and melted butter and also tomato butter you can put into little cups.
The food was high quality and bountiful, and to top it off the service was OUTSTANDING. From the moment we arrived it was really welcoming. The servers are dressed in old-time dresses reminiscent of an old seashore restaurant - they are on the "mature" side which is nice - they know what they are doing! Our server, Maxine, was a delight, and very proud of the food they had there. PS we were seated within 3 minutes of our ADR
Note that the atmosphere is very boisterous, lots of activity and kids, loud, but it's all good, it's definitely not a place for a quiet romantic dinner, but that's not what you go to Cape May for.
Oreo bon bons are worth the hype - I saved my extra "points" and had 2!! Yummy, yummy. I'll try and put a picture here:
So 2 thumbs up! Not sure if I'll have time to go back but will sure try

Hope you get your ressie!
