We are considering Cape May Cafe as one of our TS selections while we are touring EPCOT.
Never been so.... about how much time out of our day would JUST the transportation to and from EPCOT (by ferry) take out of our day?

Is it worth the trip?

Walking is faster - 10 minutes taking your time :thumbsup2

It's a short walk from the World Showcase. Yes, if you like seafood, it is worth it.

We always plan the character breakfast at CMC on one of our Epcot days... It's our favorite meal in all of Disney! That said, we usually don't do the ferry. We walk, and have found it's actually faster than the ferry. Walking usually takes us maybe 15 mins at the most. The ferry might be like 30. It all depends on how long you get there after the last ferry has left. The walk isn't bad though. I mean no worse than walking the world showcase with that same time :)

I wouldn't waste my time on the ferry either. We walked through epcot resort area in no time.

Yeah, definitely just walk from EPCOT (through the international gateway). But if you're super tired and need to take the boat, it's no more than 20 minutes. It's a nice, relaxing ride too.

Walking from the IG is definitely quicker.

If you take the Friendship boat, it will stop at the Boardwalk first and then when you get to the Yacht/Beach Club dock, the walk from there back to Cape May is about the same distance as walking from the IG so you aren't even helping your feet.

Another walker here. It is an easy pleasant walk.
I would say 10 - 15 minutes at most.
Cape May Cafe is good, but there are so many great restaurants in World Showcase - have you considered one of them?

Thanks everyone!!!

We walked over to check out the resort once in '05 but it's been so long I'd forgotten what the distance was. 10 mins is totally do-able :thumbsup2

Just an FYI ..Cape may is only open for Breakfast and Dinner. Breakfast has characters, dinner does not. Dinner STARTS at 5pm
