Cape May Cafe may be preparing to open in the near future

Those signs were there in early November but I sure hope you’re correct!!

This would be great news, but I’ll wait until it’s official from Disney before I get too excited.

I would not think it opens until after Beach Club opens in June. Just came back from Yacht Club- Ale & Compass, Beaches & Cream, plus both little QS are already open. They are plenty of dining options especially if you add in the open boardwalk places and Epcot restaurants

Is Hurricane Hannah's open? I tend to agree with you, probably CMC won't open until June

Saw signs like that in Toledo last month (mid-January). Don't think that is opening up too soon either. People may be looking too much into things, but we guess will see.

Hurricane Hannah's is not open, the bar is. You can purchase a few cold items from the bartender. The grill is not open, no refill station, no hot food.
Also, the distancing signs have been on the tables of Cape May for a few months now, they are nothing new.

They are serving a menu and the bar is operating, not sure how that's considered not open?

Well yes Hannah's BAR is open and you can get a cold sandwich and a drink from the bartender but Hannah's grille is not open. If people haven't been to the resort since it reopened, it will only set them up for disappointment to think it is like it was pre covid.

We’re getting caught up in semantics here. The grill is not operating. But not sure I would consider the location not open just because they’re serving lobster rolls instead of burgers. To avoid all confusion for those wondering if it is indeed open, WDW’s website lists it as open 11 am to 8 pm.

Having been a few times since reopening, not much in the dining realm is operating as normal at the moment. I think (hope!) most people know to expect that.

I would love to believe they’d be opening soon, but I saw those signs in December so I’m not holding out hope anytime soon.

Sooooo... still no movement on this, huh?

I was kind of holding out hope that with Lent WDW would go ahead and open CMC. There are NO dinner reservations in any of the parks and only a scant few at very late times in DS for the last week of March into April (and I'm sure long before that, but I've not checked). /sigh
