We are staying at YC/BC and I am trying to figure out arrival evening plans. We land around 4:45pm. Where to eat dinner that is nearby? I was going to do Garden Grill but the latest I could get was 7:20pm and I think that might be pushing it...not to mention it uses up a park day on our tix. So I moved that to later in the week. Not sure HH or BC Marketplace will suffice for dinner? Thoughts? I can do Cape May if it is worthwhile for our family. We don't love seafood. I will eat some fish here and there and fried shrimp of course. DH won't really eat any of it. It would definitely be convenient though if there is enough non-seafood selection for him.

I also do not care for seafood, but my DH does. We ate at Cape May a little over a year ago. I will say that there is not a huge selection of non seafood entrees, but what they did have was very tasty. Roasted chicken, steak, there may have been ribs too. Great side dishes. I certainly did not leave hungry. But keep in mind that the dinner price is a bit high if you are not going to eat the pricey seafood items- my DH probably ate enough shrimp and crab legs to cover both of our meal costs!

I have always enjoyed the non seafood choices at Cape May. The have a very nice salad bar, and all of entree and side choices were very nicely prepared.
I never leave there hungry ;)

You could always walk over to ESPN club at Boardwalk. They have late hours and do not require an ADR just in case you arrive later than expected.

Good Luck!

Check out the Captain's Grill at the Yacht Club for a nice table service meal. You could also eat at one of the restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin.

I love Cape May. It is our favorite restaurant. But if you don't like seafood then you would be better off somewhere else.

We did Cape May in Sept. Three of us were seafood lovers and were extremely happy, but the other three(non seafood eaters) said they didn't like it. I'd opt for ESPN or Captain's grill if you're not into the seafood.

Thanks all! Sounds like we should stick to bfast at CMC and do dinner elsewhere.

The other spot you can check out is Picabu over in the bottom level of the Dolphin. I love their food. You order it at the counter, and take it with you out to a table. Or, if it's something they have to make up for you, they will bring it out to you. Lots of nice choices there.

There are a number of non-seafood choices, enough to satisfy most people. Keep in mind though, if you really don't like seafood, the entire restaurant does have a strong seafood/fish "scent" during dinner.

I'll definitely recommend Captain's Grille for dinner.

They do have plenty of good things on the menu, many of which are not seafood. Last time we were there they had a prix-fixe three course dinner available as well.
