I'm hesitating between two choices on my epcot day. How can I get to Beach club from epcot? can I walk from international gateway? Will it worth the trip?

Tough decision because we love them both but I would have to go with Beirgarten because we do not have a German restaurant near us

Yes, you can walk to Cape May from EPCOT. We have done both experiences. I will say my children found more to eat at the Cape May but my pick is Biergarten.

Here is why:
-live music, ambiance makes it for us the "Oktoberfest" feel
-German food is hard to find in our town vs. Cape May
-Buffet is well appointed at both but I believe Biergarten is cheaper...
-location, location, location...no leaving the park
-The chicken dance....period.

The food was good at Cape May but I would not say "fabulous" Certain items were very very good and others just so-so. Overall just average. Dessert nice. Wider variety at Cape May, however. I can't be bothered with crab legs...and DH who did bother with them said they weren't very good.

Definitely Cape May! The biergarten's food is dreadful! I must admit that the atmosphere is pretty cool and the big beer mugs are awesome, but having to share a table with another family is sometimes not such a great thing.

Biergarten!!! We love Cape May for breakfast but it was beyond disappointing for dinner. Biergarten is fun, they have great food and DH loved the beer!

We tried Cape May Clambake 2 weeks ago for the first time and loved it. I always hesitated because I don't like seafood but was going with my cousin's family who loves seafood. We ate there on a HS day it was easy to take the boat over to the Beach Club. The food/service was great-lots of choices for non-seafood eaters and the desserts are fantastic-wish I had an oreo bon bon right now!!! :thumbsup2

Coming from a small German town in Southern Indiana, I thought our family would love Biergarten but we all absolutely hated it. While the entertainment was okay, the food was just plain yuck. We tried Cape May a few years ago & left thinking it was pretty good. Now that they've added crab legs to the menu, DH is insisting on a return visit in May!
