Cape May Cafe close to breakfast closing?

I have a reservation at 11.10am which is fairly close to the end of breakfast at Cape May Cafe.

I don’t want an early res that day as I have the Jollywood Nights party that evening but I’m hoping to still have the same food choice and character experience as an earlier reservation would.

Has anyone been at that time/similar time and can share their own experience?

Thanks!

Cape May does breakfast and then dinner which doesn’t open until 5 pm so there’s no breakfast/lunch transition that you get at Crystal Palace where they will switch one side of the buffet to lunch foods.

I haven’t done Cape May but we did Topolino’s in Aug. We had a 12:00 reservation and I think they closed at 12:15 then did not reopen until supper. Topolino’s a bit different in that it’s not buffet but I will say the experience was great! Attentive CMs and characters just as interactive and plentiful. We did not feel rushed. It was a quieter experience as when a table finished they would reset but not refill it with new guests.

The only negative we found (and this was on us) was that we were in line for an attraction at DHS that was moving slower than anticipated and after 30 mins had to bail on the line as we knew we had zero buffer to be late for our ADR.
I would not hesitate to do a close to closing breakfast again.

W had an 11:15am reservation a few years ago and everything was still being replaced and topped off while we were dining. We never felt rushed and enjoyed the experience.

Cape May breakfast is my kid’s favourite. We have eaten there early and late for breakfast and the experience is similar - same food options and characters come around frequently. No concerns with a late res - in fact, I prefer those myself! Enjoy.

This is what I was concerned about since as it closes at 11.30 I was wondering if it would just be leftover foods.

Thankfully doesn’t seem like that the case!

I did Cape May one morning and I think I was the very last reservation. When I left, there were one or two tables left who were just drinking coffee and chatting. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary-it was back when they were still doing family serve, not buffet, and I was offered more after I finished.
