Do they have New England clam chowder?

I've read that they have lobster for an additional price. How much is it and is it worth it?

How big is the bucket of crab legs? Is it worth the extra $11.99?

Don't remember them having NE Clam Chower at Cape May Clam Bake.

We didn't order lobster, we live in New England, we get it right off the boat. Lobster is usually mkt priced by the pound; so it changes daily. So a few getting lobster, looked like they were enjoying it.

Buck of crab legs was average size.

They had NE clam chowder when we were there in early September. It was very good. I didn't bother with anything extra, the buffet included steamed mussels (excellent), steamed clams (a little gritty,but still very good) and salmon with lobster sauce (very good) in addition to ribs, chicken and pot roast.

The dessert selection is spectacular. Save room.

they have excellent ne chowder, very thick probally use half and half or heavy cream. The clams are the hard shell kind not steamer type. In NE we call them quahogs. They are very good, never gritty the few times we've been there. I have net seen lobster offered but not really necessary with all the other choices.

Yes, they do have the New England Clam Chowder at the Clam Bake... it is over near the salad bar... on the left side as you face the salad bar. It is DELICIOUS, too!

We have never ordered any of the extras, as we have always found plenty on the buffet to satisfy us.

I am not sure that they still do the lobster, I think they substituted the snow crab legs, instead. I didn't see the lobster offered on the menu.

Cape May is definitely worth the price! We will be there in 20 days!!!!
