So Cape is bringing back the Buffett, I wonder if it will have crab legs again?

Crab legs will not be on the buffet. They will be an additional $29 per pound like they are now with the family style meal.

Yeah, that seems about right. I can't imagine Disney reversing that charge now that it's in place. Just like Disney isn't going to offer surf and turf on the dining plan at Narcoossee's that includes a filet and lobster tail.

I know many people will miss the crab legs, but hopefully this will keep the price of the buffet down.

The crab legs were our reason to go the buffet.
That was our whole reason for going as well.

My daughter discovered how AMAZING good crab can be at Cape May. We are staying at Beach Club for the first time and were very much looking forward to enjoying the all you can eat crab legs for four of the five of us (youngest son doesn't like them). It sounds like the price for the add-on legs is going to easily bring the price for all five of us into the neighborhood of $300+ before tip. With it not being all you can eat crab, and that being pretty much all my DD will want when we go, I'm just not sure the price is worth it anymore.

I agree, doesn't seem worth it anymore.

Even Snow Crab is expensive now everywhere. Might be boats aren't going out due to Covid and Armageddon. A few years and the oceans may be plentiful.

That could be.

I know food prices have gone up everywhere and I accept that it is unavoidable to a degree. I just struggle with paying so much for what was before included. Which is a running theme with WDW over the last few years, so maybe I shouldn't be so surprised. 🤨
