My kids do not care for seafood and are sensitive to the smell (I am the same way). We have stayed at BC before and in the afternoon when walking by (when restaurant is closed- not serving bkfst/dinner), the smell of seafood is definitely noticeable. I'd like to try their breakfast there but am slightly concerned about the seafood smell. Do you notice it at breakfast? I know everyone is different but just looking for an overall opinion :)
Thank you!

I have gone through at dinner and it is definitely fishy smelling. Bleh! I didn't notice the smell at all for breakfast.

I know exactly what you mean and agree about sensitivity to the smell. :scared: I have not noticed it at breakfast- bacon is the prevalent scent. Full disclosure, I haven't dined there for either meal.

The odor is vile coming from Cape May. If it smelled like bacon, it would be great. But it smells like a fish shop that doesn't have any air conditioning.

It almost makes me sick just walking by on the way to the pool.

I've eaten breakfast many times at Cape May and never noticed a seafood smell at breakfast. However, I love seafood and the smell of it, so I probably wouldn't even think twice about it if I had noticed it.

It's not a buttery/garlicy smell like shrimp scampi. It's more like the fishing boat at noon in July.

There is smoked salmon on the breakfast buffet at Cape May (and a few other buffets throughout Disney).

If seafood is a problem, the smoked salmon may be a trigger-smell that could also remind you of the notion that there is (or maybe) a constant seafood smell coming from Cape May.

Seems to me you should avoid eating here.

Along the Boardwalk is Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno has a few Princesses with their Princes.

Also, nearby Fresh is an excellent buffet, albeit, without Characters (and I'm a Goofy fan - which is why we enjoy Cape May).
