Cape May at Beach Club?

What is Cape May like? Thanks.

Breakfast or dinner? We did breakfast for the first time and it was very good (I still prefer CP, but DH really liked Cape May's other offerings). The characters are Minnie, Goofy and Donald Duck in beach attire. We did dinner twice--loved it the first time and the second time thought it was just okay. Would we go back for dinner? Yes, but only as a last resort if we couldn't get the other ADR's we wanted.

I like both the dinner and the breakfast.Breakfast is a character meal breakfast buffet. It is good, but than it is real hard to mess up basic breakfast foods. The dinner is themed as a buffet Clam bake, but there is more non seafood offerings available. If you go expecting New England quality seafood you will be disappointed, but it is quite good and has a great selection. It is a must do for us again this year.

In 06 we ate there for breakfast & dinner. As far as I can remember, breakfast was good, dinner was okay. That being said it was in 06 & I some how "remembered" Mickey being there, but after reviewing pictures clearly realized he was not. So, I don't know if my opinion is much help. :confused3

we went there is Sept 08 for breakfast, we HATED it! the food was not that good, the characters only stayed for 5 seconds and were gone. There are other places much better to go.

We go to the dinner just about every trip to WDW :thumbsup2

We're indifferent about both breakfast and dinner. Like a PP said, only as a last resort because there are much better options at WDW. Breakfast offerings were not as varied as other character meals and dinner is supposedly a clambake but the seafood is truly pitiful. Desserts are fab though!

I ate there for the first time a week ago right now. I really enjoyed it. There was a fish that was wonderful, perhaps tilapia. Ther ribs were quite good. Lots of veggies and boiled shrimp. And the oreo bonobons for dessert were incredible. The server was very slow. We waited several minutes, then my buddy went and filled his plate. When he returned, I went. She came while I was gone and the drinks were there when I got back. I will return, but not every trip.

We were there for Breakfast May '08 and plan to go again May '09 when we're there for another vacation. We loved the Character interaction and the food was awesome! Definately a highlight of the trip and will become a tradition for us. Can't wait to see Donald Duck there! It was Chip and Dale when we were the in 2008.

We have eaten there twice for dinner and enjoyed it. This isn't a must do for us but we seem to go back every other trip.

I thought the ribs were great and we all enjoyed the mussels and clams. Not top quality but not bad for a buffet. Since you aren't from New England, I think you should be okay.
