Cape May and Garden Grille

Tonight I just made all but one of our reservations for our 8 day trip in July. We are staying at the Beach Club and I was hoping to get a reservation there for dinner a couple of nights. They have no availability for any meal our whole trip. I then wanted the Garden Grille which also had no availability. I was using the on-line reservation system Is there a trick to getting a reservation to one of these restaurants?

At this point we have reservations at the following restaurants:
Tony's Town Square
Rain Forest Cafe (AK)
1900 Park Faire
Biergarten
Captain Grille
Sci-Fi
Whispering Canyon

My girls are 12 and 14 and I didn't want to do too many buffets.

Allears is reporting that Cape May is closed for refurb July 9 - Aug 4.

Garden Grill is open only for dinner and is very popular so it's quite likely that it is already fully booked. Keep checking online every day (even multiple times a day) because people will cancel if their plans change, especially since GG requires a cc guarantee.

Thank you for the information on Cape May being refurbished. Maybe that is why my family got a free dining package. I had a code and was told at go disney that I got a free dinning package at FQ but when I went to AAA travel and selected BC it was for my whole family. The agent was surprised at the offer too.
Now my mystery is solved! Thanks for taking the time to answer.
