Cape Cod

So hubby went for a 2 week party up at Cape Cod. He's a Math teacher at a Midddle School in Troy. He invited me to go w/ him. But, since I'm pregnant and I know when the first day of the Elementary school is I decied to stay home w/ our pup. He left yesterday. Before he left he called the Middle School and said, "Oh, well I'm taking a little trip and I'll be out for 2 weeks." I don't exactaly know if the princaple is OK w/ this. Hubby said that he worked it all out. (Yeah right!)



(In case you were wondering, I'm out for Maternity Leave on October 1st. But, after maternity leave I'm back to work teaching Kindergarteners. )

Yeah I don't get it.

He's going to miss the opening of school? For a vacation? How is that possible?

At best, during the school year, I can take 2 personal days and it's kind of "don't ask, don't tell" that I'm using them for vacation. And even then, I have to put in for it in advance, get it approved, arrange for a sub, write sub plans....

I can't imagine just calling up my principal and telling him I'm going to be out for the 2 opening weeks of school! I don't think I'd be asked to come back!

What the heck? I thought that I was posting this onto plurk. I had the 2 tabs opened and I thought I clicked on plurk bu I guyess I didn't. This post was supposed to be about Disney. I can't stop laughing I'm so embarased.
