OK guys, I know this info has been on the boards before, just be patient with me, I just can't find it! My husband & I are going over to Port Canaveral in two weeks for the week-end & do the Cape Canaveral thing, staying at Radisson Fri & Sat.-- Sat. going over to Cape Canaveral to tour & getting back in time to watch Magic leave. Any suggestions about Cape Canaveral times & tickets, etc. & what about the best viewing of the Magic leaving, where & what time to get the best viewing spot? Thanks bunches for your help!!;)

Here's a link to information about the Space Center Visitors' Center...

As for watching the Magic leave, the most popular places are two restaurants along the ship channel... Grills (www.visitgrills.com) and Rusty's (www.rustysseafood.com). You'd want to be there by 5:00 to see it as it glides by about 5:10.

My favorite place to watch the Magic (other than from being on Deck 9 onboard) is from the pier at the end of the channel as the ship enters the ocean. That's at Jetty Park (www.jettypark.com).

I have these three locations noted on my Space Coast Map...

Dave, thanks so much for your quick reply!! You are a wealth of info. I've got your cruise passporter book & love it!! (I also enjoyed your's & Jennifer's report on Mission: Space in your passporter newsletter.) My daughter & her husband are at Disney this week-end. She's 6 1/2 months pregnant & can't ride it but her husband is meeting up with some friends & riding it!! I can hardly wait to hear his report!! I'm a little afraid of it, I think I'll end up feeling like Jennifer! Maybe later I'll get up enough courage! Thanks again for the info!:Pinkbounc

Bill and Barbara, I'm not the Dave of "Dave & Jennifer", but thanks for your kind words. And I certainly agree with your kind words about the PassPorter series.

Dave, I'm so embarrased!! You know so much information, I just thought you were the same!! So sorry for the mix up, but I still appreciate the information you give all of us, even though I now have a red face!
