Capacity on the Wonder

100% of families could sail prior to Covid restrictions
now only
28% can = less people sailing

This still isn't true. 100% of families CAN still sail. Okay, I'll grant you, maybe not 100% - we need to take into account those who are immune compromised who need to be extra extra careful and there are some extremely rare instances where a vaccine is in fact medically contraindicated, so let's say about 98% of families can sail now. Now, the question is whether they are okay with the guidelines in place. But that doesn't mean they can't sail.

The final Galveston sailing had 730 passengers. Peter the cruise director said current maximum limits are 60% of total capacity, and they've hit it only once on the Christmas Wonder sailing.
Oh, that was the one we were on. I was going to say - our cruise felt noticeably less crowded, but not to the extent other people are talking about. There were still people around all the time, and it made some things much nicer (e.g. during fireworks, the decks were "full" but not "packed"). The times I did find it felt weird were dinner (the dining room was noticeably less full, which kind of reduced the energy a bit), and the variety acts were not as crowded as I'd have expected (they were in lounges, and were never close to capacity). The theater performances were also lower-energy from the audience, but that was due to the spacing more than the passenger numbers (they seemed nearly "full" but with every other row empty and 2 seats between parties, I think it was less than 40% of seats occupied), but on the plus side, it was nice to not be packed in! Honestly, if given the option I'd go for this capacity again in a heartbeat! If there were a whole lot fewer people, though, that would start feeling weird.

Using that kind of logic, every family CAN afford the price of a Disney cruise. Some just choose a career or lifestyle that doesn't let them. Ridiculous. It’s 100% valid to point out the available pool of families that can now go on a cruise is smaller. You may think everyone should do what is required to be able to, but that’s simply not the world of facts we live in.

Well, that's false equivalence and not relevant at all. Either way, we're off track here and liable to get this thread shut down so I'm not going to continue this discussion.
