Cap N' Jack v/s Fultons

I have heard great things about both. My bil loves Cap n' Jacks but the menu at Fultons looks soooooooo good. Can anyone help? What do you think of one or the other or both?

Can't help with Captain Jacks, but based on 4 dinners there, Fultons has by far the WORST service we've eccountered in over a quarter century of dining at WDW. I'd go into all the details but it would be too long a post---.

I've been to both. Captain Jack's just makes my skin crawl thinking about! That has got to be the worse restaurant I've ever eaten at in my life. The place is dirty and the food just nasty. We couldn't even finish our meal. It was BAD. Fultons was very good and the service was outstanding. It is also very pricey. I wouldn't eat at CJs again if it were free!

For a long time Captain Jack's had the distinction of being the worst reviewed restaurant on property (our own meal about three years ago was a perverse joke). However, a few recent posts suggest that there's been a slight improvement.

Our most recent Capt Jack experience involved 2 cockroach sitings (one of which was comical as the waitress tried to act all innocent and step on it and drag her foot and the deceased away in a casual way, yet everyone saw and the other was on the neighboring table), chewy lobster, and a cold steak.

I wouldn't waste your time.

Not sure if this will help. Haven't been to Cap n' Jacks yet, and from the reviews not sure I will get there, but I would not suggest Fulton's. The reason for this: AWFUL service. This is by far the worst service I have ever received at WDW. However, the food was fabulous, but for the price I expect service to match. DH and I will not be returning to this one in the near future.

we haven't been to fulton's in a couple years, last time we were there the food was good but it was a bit over priced. Doesn't sound like Cap n jacks is anything i want to try real soon

I agree with many other posters about Fulton's Crab House. Overpriced and indifferent service. That is probably the only place so far that I would not go back to.

Now I will say the food was very good ... so if I had a choice, maybe Fulton's is the better place to eat than the other (which I have never been to).

We were at Fulton's in October and had GREAT service. i was leary at first based on some reviews on here but we had a great time. Our server was wonderful and went above and beyond - wish I could remember his name. If you want a nice leisurely dinner I reccomend Fultons.

Been to Fulton's 3 times and the service was fine 2 of the 3 times. It was on the slow side once. Still courteous and helpful though.

Been to Capn Jack's once. Eh.

Fulton's is a more expensive, upscale experience. If you're looking for good seafood, I'd definitely go there over Capn Jacks.

I hated this place. Don't go there.

Although Fulton service was incredibly slow, the food was much, much better. But then again, the food court in Pop Century was better then Capn' Jacks.

I guess I am in the minority.HUbby and I went there last June for lunch and the place was clean, great waitress with prompt service and the food was delicious. I just made ADR's there for our upcoming April trip

Wife and I ate at Capn Jacks in Jan '05. Food was good, but nothing spectacular.
We had dinner at Fulton's on our honeymoon in Aug '03, and it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I had the filet mignon & lobster tail, both were excellent. Wife had the king crab claws and a filet, and still raves about the crab claws.
I have read a few bad reviews lately about Fulton's, but it still ranks up there w/ my best Disney meals ever.

I think the food at Fultons in much, much better than anything at Cap'n Jacks.

And I've eaten at Fulton's several times and have never had bad service.

Guess I'm in the minority also. We've eaten at both places. No complaints about either restaurant. Actually had a great dinner just recently at Cap'n Jacks. Service was terrific...no waiting for anything and drink refills arrived without even asking. Food arrived hot or cold as the case may be and lobster tails were excellent!
