that's it, yes or no is fine ...thinking about that second cup... thanks

I don't believe it is allowed, but I have done it with the refillable mugs. Early in the morning, I can't seem to seperate myself with my first cup of coffee and there is not enough time to drink it in our room. The bus drivers have never said anything and lots of people bring it on board.
I have a feeling this will turn into a debate, but I wanted to be honest. I've never seen it to be a problem with the bus drivers at all.

There used to be a rule, no eating, no drinking, no smoking.

And, I doubt the bus driver would be the one to worry about it if you spill it on someone. :)

Tyler should be able to answer this one better than I.

It's really up to the bus driver... I believe there is an old rule of no eating or drinking, but most drivers are laid back about it, as long as nothing gets spilled.

I personally will allow drinks, but as long as they have a cover or lid. Uncovered beverages (especially hot ones) have a tendancy to cause trouble. Also, food is fine, as long as it's either covered, or won't cause problems. Kids + Cereal/Popcorn are notorious for getting stuff all over my bus, so items like that I might ask stay sealed for the duration of the trip.

However... there are some drivers that might not allow food or beverage on board. I don't see it often, but I know they're out there. If you do encounter one of these drivers, and they request no food or beverage on thier bus, please respect thier wishes. Should you wish to finish your food or beverage, you may always wait for the next bus. :)

thanks , my husband will just have to finish pre loading then!

I always have a drink in my holder of my power wheelchair and I have never had a driver challenge me on it. Covered lid with a straw.

We always bring the refillable mugs on the bus. Then wash them out at the parks and use them for water at the water fountains. Never had any trouble, but probab;y because they have the lids.
