Can't work out what points I need for 4 nights Polynesian

Hi there,
I've read all the FAQs I can find, and most of the posts, but I still have questions, and sorry in advance if they're stupid ones. Someone on another DIS board recommended that in order to find a good rate for a deluxe resort at WDW, I might drop in here and see if anyone had points to rent. We're interested in staying at the Polynesian, but as an alternative also like the Beach Club/Yacht Club or BoardWalk. I notice most of the points on offer here are for villas, are these automatically usable for the hotels also?

So, I guess my questions are the following:

1)How many points do I need for a 4 night stay (Sat-Tues) April 2-6, 2005, at Disney's Polynesian? 2 adults. (I tried the calculator but got no result for this combination).
2) What type of points do I need to look for as a rental? I assume they don't need to be anything which specifically mentions Polynesian, but are there any types of points which definitely *won't* be suitable for my trip?
3) Say I need 60 points, for example, and they cost $10 each. Is that $600 the full accommodation charge for the 4 nights? Are park entry tickets included, or are there any other inclusion/exclusions? Again, sorry for the basic questions, but this seems a sensible way to do business if I can work through the details....

using points you get a good deal ONLY at DVC resorts - these are BCV, BWV, OKW, VWL and SSR.

DON'T RENT POINTS to use at WDW resorts - you are much better off paying cash.

sun thru thurs - 47 points per night

BCV
studio
fri/sat - 32 points per night
sun-thurs - 14 points per night

1-bedroom
fri/sat - 60 points per night
sun-thurs - 30 points per night

2-bedroom
fri/sat - 75 points per night
sun-thru 40 points per night

if you are renting points go with a DVC resort - you are much better off - however I would also reconsider renting that Sat - as you can see you can save a ton by only renting Sun-thurs night.

If they are asking for $$per point that is what you pay. Example--if you need 45 points and they are asking $10 per point you would pay 450. This does not include tickets.

i would go with BCV studio - for 5 nights Sun-thurs (if you can change it) - 14*5 =70

so 70 * $10 = $700

the $10 can vary - some only rent for $11 - so that depends.
