"Can't we all just get along, please"

I think you can see whatever you are looking for. There are a bagillion threads where people talk about their pets, play games, even chat about disney. And there are a few (more interesting!) threads where people talk, think and discuss attitudes, the news, opinions, or whether the sky is blue! You get to pick and choose.

I'm kind of enjoying all the drama actually. Certainly makes a boring day at work seem less boring. :thumbsup2

Whatever you say mom, can I go out and play now. :)

(these kind of threads bug me more than any of those "other threads")

I also think that a lot of threads get closed at the OP's request.

I think it can be a lot worse here because people are anonymous. The things I see typed here they probably would NEVER have the guts to say in someone's face.

No one in real life talks nasty to me, no one. Here they can say whatever they want.

Mostly the people here are wonderful, kind people. The punks are the online bullies. That's when you use the ignore feature.

You said it. That's why I enjoy online debate. Respectful online debate.
