If there are other DIS'sers around at the Fort, try to give folks an idea what you might be doing the next day or post your site number. Or post a green DIS sign if you brought one. Or PM other folks that you read on the board here that are there at the same time to say hello.
Everyone's comfort level is different and some folks are go-go-go types always in the parks. So whatever will happen will happen.
Weather forecast looks warm for the next couple days with a typical chance of spring showers. Enjoy it!
