Hello everybody!
For more than 3 years I have been reading trip reports and every other information I would need for my visits to WDW, on the DIS Board. This year I just cannot hold back any longer and would like to join the group.
Since December 2004, after realizing that we, or mostly I, really got addicted to the christmas feeling of Disney and not being able to go , I am busy planning. From Spain it is not easy to find a cheap flight and I always smile when I see all the infos on cheap flight in the US
This is why this year I booked our flights already in January for December 3rd.
Not really a bargain, but this way I was sure we would go!!
We will stay offside, not because I did not try - we are timeshare members, and they have a few Disney "Hotels" in the offer, but nothing available, even with one year planning
We will rent a car, because not only will we go to Disney, but also enjoy some pre-christmas shopping and having a horsecrazy daughter also visit some dinner shows.
With her being a teenager we also want to do some restaurants,(until now it was mostly home cooking or fast food when visiting the States,) a little bit fancy, a little bit fun. She is a picky eater so we will mostly do buffets!! But all on Disney Ground.
We received already our tickets for Mickeys Christmas Party in June, but I did not buy any entrance tickets, jet. Will wait for the best offer
What I really would like to do, is one of the firework cruises, but being only two, there is not much chance for that.
And this is one of the reasons I post this. Is/Are there people out there, who would like to join, or who have already a cruise planned? We will be there from the 3rd until the 9th of December. Any day is good for us. I will happily try to call 90 days ahead of time!
I would also like to hear from people how they get around Disney with a teenager. I am not really the one for thrill rides, also I think I did at least every ride once, just tower of Terror is a big NO after the first experience.
There will for sure be more questions but for now I would be happy to be welcomed to the board and maybe receive an answer or two
Thanks a lot for staying with me
