Anyone else have this problem? Well, it's not really a problem...unless you start to annoy other people. :guilty: (which I may be there now... even DD9 asked me to stop telling her stuff about our trip) But in any case, we're 62 days away, I can't stay off this board, & all I can think about is our trip, & all the wonderful things we'll do when we get there. I can't wait to see the look on dd3's face :cutie: & even dd9's princess: when they see the MK for the first time. The thing is, I've been imagining and dreaming of this trip their whole lives. I made ADR night before last, & caught myself gushing over the trip with the CM over the phone. (she was wonderful of course & gushed along with me) It just can't get here fast enough! :yay:

Yes, thinking about the upcoming trip seems to annoy others. Is it jealousy?:confused3 or just their lack of happiness for those of us who have managed to find the youth in our souls:yay: . This is our first time and the next two weeks seem to be slowly moving in on us. Hubby has been wanting to pack since January :rotfl: . I am trying to think of all the small details and surely don't want to get stuff packed so early that I forget something. My mother claims I visited Disneyland in California when I was in a stroller. Give me a break, I don't remember that. At age 46 I am so finding this an adventure of a lifetime. I am so very excited and cannot wait to see the beautiful scenery. May never make it back but will always be able to say I went once.

Disney is on my mind too.....it's all I think about EVERYDAY!!! I can't help it. This is our 2nd trip with DS9 & DS7....we are all SO excited!!! I am just taking it all in...planning is the best part......

hope you have wonderful time!!!

Oh, and it doesn't annoy me....:yay: :earboy2:

More so then ever since we were suppose to leave this morning to DW. Snow storm was bad enough to where our flight was canceled. Won't be able to make it out until Sunday afternoon. After waiting for a year just waiting for tomorrow to be over will seem like an enternity. :sad2:

That's exactly how I was. My mom kept saying "you're going to ruin the magic!"
hahaha

I am also suffering from Disney-itis!! Our trip is still over 200 days away, but I can't stop talking about it and researching different topics. We haven't even booked our room yet, and I just can't wait!! It will be interesting to see how excited I am once we get closer.

I am 537 days out and I am that way. I have been this way since we got back in 2006. Disney is all I think about. My dh keeps telling me we have 3 vacation trips to take before we go to Disney and maybe I should concentrate on them but I can't.

I'm the same way and I've been every year for the past five years. I'm so excited to be under 50 days and I just bought a new car so I'm really excited about my first long trip in it as well.

15 more days for us. It is our first trip to the World as well. I can't wait to see my kiddos faces. I talk about it all the time and yes it most likely annoys others but I am too happy to notice:rotfl: For us we won't be going back for a couple years. There is many more places dh and I feel the need to take the kids and visit also, so we are going to enjoy this trip to its fullest. We may need a mini vacation to recoup from this vacation though!!

I have such a fun time planning trips, especially the disney trips. The first time we all went was 2005 and I planned for 3 months! I really do think it was worth it though. I was as excited as the boys (they were 11 and 8 at the time) and I even cried at two attractions. I felt so silly, because that's so unlike me. I think it just seemed to bring out the magic and youth inside of me and even DH. We're never so happy as a family as we are at WDW.

I think it annoys people because they just want to go to, and are tired of the winter and snow. I only discuss my trip with others that are leaving on springbreak also. 3 more days for me ! We're leaving Friday morning at 7:00, flight arrives at 9:00. I think I'm just as excited as the kids!!!

For the first timer's at WDW...please heed the advice of others and take an afternoon break. You'll need it, the kids will need it and it's just so relaxing by the pool. As hard as it may seem...get your kids up and get to the parks at opening. Take advantage of early morning EMH at least at 2 parks. When you're back at the pool, knowing you just walked onto everything in the mornings with no lines and everybody is waiting for 90 minutes NOW!...you'll feel so good about getting up and at it in the morning.

I am the same way , and I still have over 6 months until our trip. I drive my poor husband nuts.

I am right there with you but my DBF is the one I am annoying but I can always get him excited by reminding him of the BLUE SQUISHIES (the blue rasberry frozen cooler) he loves thoes eventhough he tries to act cool!!:lmao:

That's why the Dis is GREAT! :) You can gush with fellow Disney lovers and fanatics! My co-workers think I'm crazy, and I'm not going until August! It's helping me to keep the fact that DH is deployed off my mind (at least a little...)...Disney is far more exciting!

We started our 30 day countdown with HomeDepot Mickeys this morning:cool1:

I am constantly obsessively distracted thinking about Disney and our trip.

??Question?? Do you think the mid-day breaks are necessary if we are only going to the parks every other day (We will be there for two weeks). :confused3

We don't even have a trip planned in the near future (we're expecting in July!) but I still think of it everyday. We've been to WDW the past two May's and I think I'm having withdrawls! The great thing about Disney is that you can always do something to satisfy the craving. DW and I will be working on our scrapbook (hopefully) this weekend. We really haven't gotten too much done on it since we got back from our last trip but I know that working on it will cure me for a bit.

I've already asked DW how she'd feel about taking a 5 month old baby to WDW. She wasn't too keen about it unless we were staying at the Polynesian :scared1: . Although, she is alright with leaving a little one with her parents for a few days. That being said I have a feeling that there'll be a short DL trip within the next year and hopefully WDW in December 2009.

I know exactly how you are feeling. But at this moment my trip seems so far away:sad1: .
I can't stop checking out these forums, questioning all of our plans & sleeping hasn't been easy either, lol. My dh who still thinks it's just for Kids just doesn't realize and I know he won't until get gets there....and then he can thank me for the endless hours of planning, lol.
After a few life changing set backs I'm absolutely determined to make this trip Amazing for our family. After booking on friday I was in such shock that when we watched the Disney planning CD I had tears in my eyes.
I can't wait!! and luckily I haven't bored my daughters yet with all the pictures & talk about it...but the boys have already stopped listening, lol.

Trust me, your trip will be here before you know it!

I was kind of the same way as your DH before we initially went on our first trip. DW had always wanted to go but I never really did. I was graduating from University and my parents were giving us airline points to fly anywhere in North America. I wasn't exactly sure where I wanted to go but DW was pleading for WDW. I finally said that we should go to the bookstore so I could look at some touring guides. I looked at a few and then found a book worth it's weight in gold....The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. Once I started flipping through this book I found that the crowds were and are avoidable. This book really made me realize how much planning actually needs to be done so that you can save time, money and energy!

One thing that I found while doing all of my planning is that it really came in waves. There would be times that I just couldn't plan (a.k.a. plot & scheme) enough and there were other times that I just couldn't bring myself to study Disney. Maybe you can get DH into it if he helps plan things out??? Maybe you could get him to set up the ADR's for you guys and then once he realizes that the ADR's need to be planned around which parks you'll be in on which day he'll see that there are a world of possibilities! I know that once I started planning out my ADR's I couldn't be stopped! Plus you're going to want to completely avoid certain parks on certain days which will limit your dining choices for that evening OR you may want to head to a certain park AFTER dinner which will really affect where you want to eat dinner, etc, etc, etc. If he dislikes crowds even a little bit he'll see the merit in doing all of this planning.

Maybe DH would like to have a flip through the Unofficial Guide?

Guilty of the same thing - I can't seem to stop thinking of getting married and going on my honeymoon to Disney with the man I love, the dd12 I love and to the PLACE I love.

My husband is really looking forward to the day that our vacation rolls around, mostly because it means that I'll quit talking about Disney so much! Come on though, planning is half the fun! (At least for me!) Good thing I didn't know about DISboards until a week or so ago. I've already managed to spend WAY too much time perusing the forums! Can't wait until our trip!
