I referred my husband to Blink. However, when he tries clicks on the link in his email, Blink assumes it is me. According to mousesavers info, it is legal for members of the same household to refer each other. Has anyone had any luck with this? If so, please explain it to me in very basic :o terms. Thank you so much.

PHP:
Happy Clicking!

Sounds like you need to clean your cookies. I only know how to do this in Interent explorer.

Right click your start button
Click Explore (another window will open)
Click the + sign that is beside the Windows folder
double click the Cookies folder
Select them all and right click and click delete.

i have aol, my daughter belongs to blink too... it will only let one of us a day do it, maybe if i rebooted....hadnt thought of that..i'll try it and let u know if it works! i've tried using aol for one, and IE for the other, no luck! please post if u solve the problem!

Thanks for the tip DMSLUSH! I use Explorer also. My machine is in the process of placing 1,727 "cookies" in the recycle bin. (Maybe it could help me with my diet. ) Anyway, I'll let you know how it turns out.

If you have that many cookies, your Temp internet files are probably bogging you down too.

Do the same steps as above, except instead of clicking on the cookies folder, double click the Temp Internet Files. Send all of those suckers to the recycle bin.

To keep our computer running at a decent speed, I have to clean all of that out once a day and then defrag the hard drive once a week.

Thank you DMSLUSH!:smooth: Deleting the Temporary Internet Files worked. DH is now signed up and has earned over 5000 points in less than 10 minutes. If this keeps up I may be able to convince him to take me to WDW for my 40th. (Oh did I just admit that on the boards!?!:earseek: ) After all I will need Mickey to help me get over the shock.
Thanks so much for your help. Only my fellow DISers could appreciate my obsession.

Have a question:

I signed my husband up for a referral and got the 1000 points but it won't let him accrue any points. It says you have already applied for these points you have to wait 24 hrs. Would this be because I used the same e-mail address? It's not letting us both accumulate points. Any ideas?

Have you tried DMSlush's suggestions? I did & Blink let me sign DH up. I haven't checked to see if it will let me back in yet. However, I believe that you and your husband need to have separate email addresses for this to work. If you use the Microsoft products, your husband can get a free hotmail account as his email. DH & I are both using a separate hotmail account for click programs only. This is to make our daily email more manageable. I don't want emails from my children's teachers getting lost among the deluge of emails the click programs generate.

Yes, you and your husband need seperate email account for the programs. There are a several sites that you can get free email addresses from

Hotmail
Excite
Yahoo
Angelfire

Everyone should clean out their "cookie jar" every once in awhile. I usually do it every other day to the tune of 20-30,000 cookies. Cleaning out that many will increase your cruising speed.

I agree jdads. With 4 of us here doing these programs, our "cookie jar" is always overflowing!

Cleaning the cookie jar appears to be a must with Blink (at least using Microsoft). So it looks like we will be tossing cookies regularly. :p
