Can't search....Dollar rental car?

We are Emerald Aisle members and have never rented a car from anyone other than National...I love being able to bypass the counter. However, this trip, we are taking my parents and need to book a minivan. Using the KISS2 code on Dollar, we are able to book a minivan for $100 less than National. I'm nervous because I don't know anything about Dollar at MCO. Anyone care to share their experiences....??? I'm used to arriving at MCO, going right to the garage, picking the car we want, then just driving right along. How are the reps at the Dollar counter? Can I expect a hard-sell on insurance or upgrades, etc?

If you join Dollar Express, you avoid most of the hassle. Unfortunately, you can't just pick up your car. You wait in a special line for Dollar Express members - which usually has nobody in it. And since all your paperwork is preprinted, it goes super quick. There's shouldn't be any hard sell on insurance, upgrades, gas, etc. Just sign and go. However, last time I rented in Tampa, I did get asked about upgrades (for which I sent Dollar a nasty note).

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't know about Dollar Express....I'll sign up for it right away. I don't mind waiting a little if it saves us that $100, but I've seen the rental car lines at MCO and some look like they are hours long!! Thanks for the information.

We use National EA due to our late arrival times (typically land around midnight and do not want to push the kids even further) - we have used Dollar Express in the past and were satisfied with the wait, service and vehicle (tricked up Grand Caravan)

If you do not mind a bit of a lineup and the $100 is important than by all means go with Dollar if you get Express priviledges
