can't remember!! lowest crowds? best weather?

Hi, this is my first time on the boards for Disneyland. I've been on the boards for WDW for a year now. We were planning another trip to WDW next year, but now I'm having second thoughts.

I grew up in Southern California and went every year to Disneyland, but for the life of me, I can't remember what time of the year So. CA had the best weather (least rain fall). Also, could someone tell me when the crowds are the lowest?

I could answer those questions about WDW in my sleep.....but I'm clueless about Disneyland!

The lowest crowds are always during the school year (particularly Jan, Feb before the President b-days, Nov except for Thansgiving and Dec before winter break). Best weather is a matter of opinion as so long as it's not windy I prefer the weather during these months as well, though there can be rain. No rain usually May-early Nov.

For the best combination, but with some risk involved, I'd go for early to mid-January (after school is back in, usually the Monday after New Year's). Almost always the weather is fabulous then...but you do take more of a chance on rain than in the summer. Rain is more likely in Feb. or March.
