Can't modify request after online check in?

Staying at GF Nov. 14-20 and just did online check in. We are arriving early & I checked the box that said I'd rather have room early than my room request met. Then I decided I really would like to have the building I requested so I immediately tried to uncheck the box. It won't allow any changes on the room request but I could edit anything else. Anyone else had this happen?

You'll have to call the main reservation line and have them change your requests.

I tried. They told me they could not change what I had entered online but they could put my request in the notes and they should see it when assigning rooms. Lesson learned.

We always fax requests when we absolutely need something different from online check in. Worked this year.
