We are going to universal (both parks) and staying at Royal Pacific for 2 nights later this month. It's been almost 15 years since DH and I have visited the parks and my kids have never been. With that said, what are your cant miss food or beverage choices.

I love a coffee (from 3 broomsticks) with a Rock Cake (from the shop next to 3 Broomsticks) at breakfasttime.

I adore butterbeer, but the frozen (my fave) now causes too many brainfreezes in me. And the hot butterbeer is too big a serving for me to actually enjoy. And it's hard to share b/c the topping just goes from cup to cup when you try to pour it into another cup. :)

how could i have forgotten my other love....
pink donut !!

my food and drink i 'can't miss when i am there' items.

To add to those already listed above.....

A Flaming Moe (a little pricey, but the effect is soooo worth it and you get to keep the cup):

A Brain Freezin' D'oh!-nut Sundae:

A Cauldron Cake:

Otter's Fizzy Orange Juice (pictured here with cold Butterbeer....we are some of the scant few who much prefer the cold to the frozen):

Napolean Bars & Cheesecake from Croissant Moon:

Mythos risotto of the day
Lard Lad Donut Sundae
Bumblebee Man Taco Truck (Korean Beef)
Cheesecake at Beverly Hills Boulangerie
Turkey leg at Terrace Falls

As always with park food, ymmv.

That`s certainly true...........

I don`t have a must do food.....not a fan of sweet things......although Florean Fortescues ice cream has to be tried......any flavour will do.

But we won`t miss Mythos, Confisco Grill whenever we are in IOA and Louie`s for pizza in Studios.

Cocktails and sushi in orchids lounge in RPR........lush!!!!

Now I'm hungry. And I want Lavender & Earl Grey ice cream from Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlour.

I didn't try that one last year........think it may have been to only one I didn't try......lol.....I adore Earl Gray tea.......will have a bash this year though.

DD and I both loved this one, and it is on our official snack list for October.

This July I tried the Clotted Cream ice cream from Florean Fortescue's - a scoop of that on top of a scoop of the Salted Carmel Blonde - TO DIE FOR!!!

Also count me as a vote for the Big Pink donut and frozen Butterbeer!

Any of the doughnut from Lard Lads are great. I didn't get the Big Pink, I got it's smaller cousin. The Apple Crumble and Chocolate Chili Ice Cream from Florean's is also great. I haven't tried the Butterbeer Ice Cream but I've tried the other three. It seems like everyone is different. I'd rank them.

Frozen
Hot
Cold

See, the hot butterbeer is my favorite followed by the cold. We didn't care for the frozen one and we felt the ice cream didn't come with much of a butter beer taste. It's worth trying all four though :goodvibes

Another vote for the big pink donut. If you're looking for any City Walk options, Red Oven Pizza Kitchen is one of our favorites for dinner.

We have gotten the big Pink donut both trips now. The photo opp is awesome! plus, it's great for splitting.

I do like frozen butterbeer :)

A MUST-DO is cheesecake from the boulangerie - its just as good as the Cheesecake Factory IMO and cheaper - $4.89 a slice.

My son loves lemon slushes.

I will say - there aren't a lot of snacks/meals in Universal that are must-dos for us. One evening I was looking for somewhere to eat in the parks and couldn't come up with one place I particularly wanted to eat in (our 3rd day in so we had already covered many of our must-dos).

I tried Cowfish this trip. I honestly wasn't expecting much but decided to try it based on so many recommendations here. LOVED it! Incredibly yummy sushi - maybe some of the best I have had (admittedly, I typically only eat sushi at a few of my favorite places). We were going to go to Mythos and i ended up nixing that in favor of a second trip to Cowfish. YUM!

Mythos....the pad Thai
Lard lads.....big pink donut
Florean Fortescue......butterbeer and sticky toffee ice cream
Wizarding world.....frozen butterbeer
Antojitos.....the whole menu especially the cheese flan

I have been told that the cheesecake at Boulangerie is made at the Cheesecake Factory!
