Can't make the plane due to weather?

Just wondering what happens if there is a snowstorm and your flight is delayed for a 1/2 day or a day. What do you do about your reservations (will be staying on site). This (weather) and being sick are what worries me about going in February. Anyone been in this situation?

Don't worry Nothing you can do about the weather. If your flight is cancelled due to weather they will re book you as best they can. It is not so bad if you are in Orlando and get snowed out up north.

You can be proactive and if the weather looks bad many airlines will allow you to make changes with no charge. If you guess right and your flight is cancelled you have a leg up on everybody else that has to scramble to make changes.

We have gotten snow out over Christmas week coming home and it was very difficult getting a flight home. Peak periods are difficult to rebook. Stay calm and try to get the agent to think outside the box. You may have to go to Dallas or Chicago to get back north.
