Can't Join The Chat

I have been trying to join the Cruise Chat for quite a while and keep getting an error message. I believe I am doing it right. I am putting in my User Name and Password and I keep getting the error message "Sorry, your name is not availability". What am I doing wrong. I broke all speed records to get home in time to join and I can't do it!

click the guest button - not sure why but it seems to be required to chat

Check the guest box and put in your user ID. No need to enter a password.

That's what I did, I still couldn't get in, but my roomate did. It's going so fast, though, I can't see how to register for prizes.
