Can't Get The ADRs I Want - Advice Needed

We are booked to go in November, but since we booked after the 180 day window I am having trouble getting the ADRs I want (mainly 'Ohana and Chef Mickey dinner). I have been checking every day to see if anything opens up. Am I wasting my time? Is there anything I can do to get ADRs at these restaurants?

Keep trying! Are you flexible with your times?

The only advice I have is to call every day and accept any time they have.

Yes, Im very flexible, but they are booked solid. Do reservations open up sometimes?

Don't worry just keep trying with the new $10 charge you will get something. You have a long time yet

keep trying but for those two will be hard and chef Mickeys has gone down hill so bad in last four years would try to find another character meal. Garden Grill has dinner with Mickey... 1900 Park fare is princess for dinner and crystal palace has Pooh and friends for all meals

Have you looked into a Chef Mickey breakfast? Their breakfast is really pretty good, and they have the same characters, still do the napkin waving & dancing.

Other than that, keep trying! People do cancel ADR's and then they open up for other people..you just have to be the lucky one that happens to call and ask next and scoop up that ADR! Good luck

I wanted Ohana for breakfast-- nothing was available. I check every day. Then one day a 9:30 opened so I grabbed it- I still check for earlier times and so far was able to move it to 9am.

I'm in the same boat. And it's so funny to me because I'm only about 12 days out from my 180 day mark. People are serious when it comes to ADRS. We are going Nov. 25th - Dec 3rd.
However, we went in November last year and if you keep checking you'll get what you want. Especially as it gets closer. When we get to our last couple of months before the trip, you'll see the "November canceled ADR thread" will be hopping. Keep an eye on that to snag what people may cancel and just keep checking.

Definitely keep checking every time you go online. I have been able to snag Chef Mickey's and Le Cellier in the past by doing this. Good luck

You can have a cake delivered at any meal. DD5 had her fancy bday cake delivered to Chef Mickey's for breakfast last summer...i.e. 7am adr. Nothing says birthday treats like cake for breakfast!

Beyond that...just keep checking. I wouldn't go totally stalker with the website at this point, but October will be prime stalking time for things to open up...i.e. check MANY times per day.

Thanks everyone for the tips! I actually was able to book both a couple of minutes ago. Unfortunately, they are both the same day (6:30pm and 8:30pm), go figure! It does make me feel a whole lot better that things will work out, though. Thanks again!

We are going the beginning of Nov for my boys' 3rd birthday and we have breakfast at Chef Mickey the day of our flight home. I fully intend to let them eat cake for breakfast, it is their birthday!

We just had to move our trip to August and those are the only 2 I'm still needing to book to: Chef mickey & Ohana. I'm hoping something opens up as we are getting near the 45 day mark!
