Can't Get Reservation - Need Advice

Hubby decided to surprise me with a trip to WDW for our 15th wedding anniversary. Only problem is we can't get a reservation at any of the dvc resorts for Nov. 30 - Dec. 4. I have been waitlisted for a couple of weeks, but nothing has happened. What are my chances something will come up.

If someone else has a reservation they don't use, can they transfer it to a specific member, or can you transfer points between accounts to take over that reservation. This is all pretty new to me. Normally we plan everything 11 months in advance and I have never had a problem getting a reservation.

Any advice is appreciated.

I have a reservaion at the Boardwalk checking in on December 1, 2002 and departing 5 days later in a standard view studio. If you are interested in this res, please let me know as soon as possible because I will be forced to cancel at the 31 day point if there are no takers. docdds@aol.com
