Can't get any information

Ok, I have been registering online and called the DVC.
I can not get any information or get the DVC Salesperson
to even call me back. I am really interested in the DVC
but since when can you not even get a phone call to
get someone to sell it to me???

Seems odd....

btw, I'm in Michigan

Have you tried both the (800) 633-5139 and (800) 500-3990 numbers?

Have they assigned you a guide? If so, you could ask for him/her specifically when you call.

I would ask to be transferred to the sales center in WDW. There a guide will answer and you can talk to them. I have done this before when my brother was purchasing to get some info that the phone rep at that number could not answer for him.

Yes I have been assigned a rep. Darren Greenwald I believe.
I called the 800 number and talked to a someone who gave
me his name and took all my information. I then left the rep
a message and haven't heard anything. I have filled out the
request for contact online several times and have not been
contacted that way either.
 
It seems like they should at least send you the info packet. Is this the part of the web site you used?


I see they've added a way to get direct contact. Maybe that will help.

FYI -- When SSR opens they may not be able to sell to you right away by mail. They have to get approval in each and every state before they can sell. If the state is slow in granting that approval, the only way to purchase is in person at WDW (or through resale).

They are extremely busy right now but that is still no excuse.

What number are you calling?
 
You may want to call and ask to talk to any available guide if yours is not returning your calls. Or ask for another guide and when you get them, let them know that your guide has nor called back. They may be able to let them know you are a hot lead and they should find time to call you. The other guide most likely won't try making the sale to you, just answer general questions. My guide's name is Deborah Robinson if you want to call her.

If that doesn't work I would ask for a Sales Supervisor and talk to them, and let them know your issues so thay can resolve them. You guide may be on vacation and did not update thie voice mail or went on vacation before they could call you back. My guides (I have a second becuase my first left DVD) have always been good about returning calls, even giving me thier personal cell number so I could call while she was on vacation. She returned my call from her car while driving to her vacation and she needed to get some info from her breifcase to answer my question.

I would call and ask to talk to someone else.

Obviously, you are interested.

There has to be someone there that can give you a few minutes.

We ended up buying a resale for this very reason. Between the time I called and the time a rep called me back was over two weeks - this was a peak BCV sales period.

By the time I'd gotten the call back, I'd used this site and the information at Mouseplanet to determine that this was a good idea, and had paperwork signed on a resale.

They did send me the video eventually. It wasn't very useful - I didn't find any of the presales info as useful as what you'll find here (if you can filter through everyone's personalities).

BTW, the DVC rep was the first to say "Welcome Home" when he heard we'd already made a resale offer.
 
I suggest calling the number again and getting a new guide assigned or ask nicely to speak to someone at the sales center. The numbers I posted above are the ones I called to get more info for my brother, and they said they would give a message to my guide and she would return my call ASAP. I said, "I just have a quick question. Is there anyone I can talk to now?" They then transferred me to the BWV sales center where I asked my question to another guide who was very helpful, and my guide called me later that evening to make sure I got all the info I needed :)
