Can't find airfare under $500 pp - help please!

It's the taxes that can more than double that price. That's the reason so many of us now use Buffalo instead, where the taxes are so much lower. Add to that the reasonable long term parking rates and you've got a winner.

I was just thinking that. That flight will still be close to $300. Which is better than $400 or $500 but still pricey in comparison.

If I were you I would wait a couple of months. I just got a West Jet seat sale from Halifax for $924.00 for the two of us(for April 25-May2), which is really cheap for a direct flight these days.

I seriously consider flying out of Buffalo ( great prices) but I just booked with Westjet $139. + taxes. Direct flights 2.5 hrs. I didn't want to connect flights and chance any delays.

Is the Westjet flight from Ottawa or Toronto? and what month are you flying?

I fly southwest leaving out of Buffalo and use a scooter. People with disabilities needing assistance go on first then people with Small children. They do not split you up so you do not need pre assigned seating. You will have the pick of the plane

Looking for a direct (and inexpensive way to get to WDW) from Ottawa in June. Does anyone know of any direct flights from Ottawa to Orlando in June? Also, I see SW mentioned on some threads, is this just from the U.S.?

Try flying out of Syracuse. You save on some of the taxes and there are direct flights. I think WestJet might fly direct from Ottawa. JetBlue flights straight from Syracuse. We have flown out of Toronto before for direct cheaper flights. This time we are flying out of Syracuse. Good Luck! Deb
