We are staying at the Fort and were hoping to do Mickey's Backyard BBQ on our first full day... but, doesn't look like they offer it on Sunday!

Thinking of switching to Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue instead... but I'm afraid my 2 year old and 4 year old won't like it as much. Opinions?

If Hoop-Dee-Doo isn't the best for small kids... any other suggestions? We won't be going to the parks this day and could travel to another resort if necessary.

I don't have little ones but we just did this a little over a year ago and I think it could be a little tough for a 2 year old. While it's fun and they do try to cater to the kids, you are in your seat the whole time during the show.
You could just eat at Trails End and then do the Chip & Dale sing along campfire at the campground. Very interactive and fun for the kids. You can buy s'mores kits too and then watch a movie under the stars. It's done by the main pool in FW.

We tried HDDR when DS was 3 1/2 and he barely made it through the show. I agree with PP who suggested Trails End along with the sing a long. You could also visit the stables at Ft. W, do pony rides and play at the playground. If you want to travel to another resort, you could boat to WL for WCC or CR for Chef Mickey's
