Can't decide on Epcot dining!

I'm torn on which restaurants to visit at Epcot. I know we want to do Les Chef's --but which would you choose between Via Napoli & Tutto?
Also looking for one more to add. Rose & Crown looks pretty good. I know Teppan is good, but we have a few hibachi restaurants in our city and it looks like they do the same things there (onion volcano, etc..) Thanks for your advice/suggestions! :)

I would choose Tutto Italia over Via Napoli. I haven't dined at either yet, but have a reservation for Via Napoli next month. Tutto is closed for remodeling. It gets better reviews though as being more authentic and more of a finer dining as far as I can tell. Rose & Crown does look good too and I had it booked originally but I had more ADR's than I had meal credits so I had to let a couple of them go. No matter which place you choose though you can be assured it will have the ambience and atmosphere of a Disney World restaurant. Food is just food, you dine here for the environment. We enjoyed all our meals the last trip both the seated meals and the counter service were good. Not like outstanding good or what you would get at home, but for mass food production, it is really good considering it's theme park food. A definite step above McD's or BK and the like, but I wouldn't go as far as saying to expect The Cheesecake Factory or similar type food either.

If you already have a hibachi in your area, I'd suggest skipping Teppan Edo.

I have done both Tutto and Via and have ended up liking Via better. The service has been exceptional and we really enjoy the authentic pizza's and other appetizers. We had a bad experience at Tutto last time we went (out of the wine/food we ordered, never cleared the dishes off the table, fruit flies everywhere). Maybe after the remodel, Tutto will be nicer?

As for Rose & Crown, we have reservations this upcoming trip but I'm excited about the menu.

When are you going? Tutto is closing for refurbishments and last I heard, the re-opening was tentatively pushed back to May but nothing is confirmed yet. We did Via Napoli and really liked the food and atmosphere.

Agree with PP about Teppan Edo. It's sub-par hibachi and won't hold a candle to hibachi at a local restaurant. They don't even have fried rice!

We did Rose & Crown and while service and food was good, the menu wasn't all that. My BF had bangers and mash and described it as "ehhh" and I had the fish & chips which were fine, but I could have gotten that with a QS credit at the stand next to R&C.

You could also consider the restaurants at the Boardwalk and YC & BC. They are a quick walk through the international gateway which make them easy to get to.

Not really a big fan of either of the Italian restaurants at Epcot. If you're really craving Italian, and don't have a good one at home, then I'd suggest Il Mulino at the Swan. Check out the menus under the Dining tab at the top of the page.

DH and I have enjoyed all of our dinners at the Rose and Crown, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding is fabulous (tastes just as good as it sounds). Biergarten is a really fun buffet with good food and great beer and wine. And we both greatly enjoyed our dinner at La Hacienda in Sept.

If you're still thinking about Japanese, and like sushi, then I can certainly recommend Tokyo Dining. More grown up and quieter than Teppan Edo.

I know it wasn't on your shortlist, but I loved San Angel Inn - which was a surprise for me, as I don't love Mexican food in general! The Pollo a las Rajas was delicious, and the avocado and jalepeno margaritas were so unique and tasty. Plus the ambiance is beautiful. Just wanted to offer another opinion :goodvibes

Been to both. I would pick Via Napoli. I liked the food better and the atmosphere was more relaxed. Tutto seemed really formal, but with my dds, we just wanted something really relaxed.

As for one more to add we haven't tried Rose & Crown, but I agree, it looks good. I think San Angel looks so neat as we go thru on the boat ride, but I am scared to eat there. I had the QS once and was sick. I know a lot of those places share kitchens. We are trying Nine Dragons this time.

If you are on the Dining Plan or if cost isn't a concern then I would definitely pick Tutto.

Definitely Tutto Italia over Via Napoli. All four in my family agreed Tutto Italia was the best meal we had eaten during that vacation! Everything was so great from the service to the decor to the amaaazing food! We're all Italian, so it was nice to have an authentic meal. We went to Via Napoli last year on our next trip. It was just okay. The service wasn't even good! I had a personal pizza, which was not bad, but it came 20 minutes before everyone else's food...awkward! Everyone else's food was pretty good, but at the end of the night we wished we would have booked Tutto again instead. You'll get a pretty good meal at Via, but you're sooo much better off at Tutto! :flower3:
