Hey all. We're planning our next trip for the end of October and can't decide if we ought to fly in Tuesday or Wednesday. Do you think you're more or less tired the longer you stay? If we fly in Tuesday we would be staying with my grandparent's that night and heading to DL Wednesday morning (about 25 min. away) and staying in GCH Wed-Sat night. If we fly in on Wed we probably wouldn't make it to DLR until around 6 pm so don't know if we'd just go to the hotel or if we'd do DL that night. Then we'd have until check-out Sunday morning. Do you think 3.5 days is plenty or would you make it 4 full days? Part of my dilemma here is that we'd need to take them out of school one more day & use up an extra vacation day for dh, but maybe it's worth it? Thoughts? :goodvibes

This isn't your first time to DL is it? If not, then you could totally do it in 3.5 days and if your daughters are able to keep up with you then it can be done in that time. Just get to the parks early on the days that you can and stay as late as possible. But most of all have fun and enjoy your time together as a family.;)

Well if you won't arrive on Wednesday until 6PM (DL closes at 8PM during that slow time) it wouldn't be worth it to go for 2 hours. I say fly on Tuesday.

I forgot it would probably close at 8 pm. The more I think about it I'm def leaning toward flying out Tuesday...gives us more time with my grandparents and more time at DLR. And I won't feel quite as rushed. Thanks!

lol......Our next trip we will be spending 6 days in DL and I am trying to figure out how we could maybe fit another day in....lol. I love DL and although I've been there too many times to count, I can't get enough of it. Even though I've seen and done everything, I will gladly see and do everything 6 (or 7) days in a row. Sorry, I'm not much help to you.
