Can't decide best MK FP?

My FP day is this week and I'm quite confused. For MK we want to ride
7DMT
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Peter Pan
Big Thunder Mountain
Never done splash mnt before so its a priority but is it a waste of a FP because its often has same day availability? We are going second week of March. Which 3 make best sense?

I’d rope drop PP, go from there to Splash, and FP Space, 7DMT and Thunder. Splash shouldn’t have a long standby line early and, yes, it’s the easiest of those to get as an additional same-day FP (but not “easy” to get as an additional, if that makes sense). You could probably also ride POTC and JC (near Splash) after Splash with relatively low waits, then hit Thunder with a FP. Then 7DMT, then Space.

1st Fastpass: Peter Pan
2nd Fastpass: 7DMT
3rd Fastpass: Space

Big Thunder and splash are right next to eachother so are easy to do at rope drop. Peter Pan, 7DMT and Space get big wait times quickly, and have more hectic rope drops than the frontierland rope drop in my opinion.

^^ I think it's a good plan IF the weather in the morning will be very warm. I wouldn't be enjoying getting wet on Splash Mountain during a cool morning and wandering the park.

This is what we do. I usually ride BTMRR a few extra times while my family does Splash because I don’t like water rides.

Fwiw... I was there in early March 2017 with 2 days spent in MK. On our first MK day, we opted not to use our 4th FP on Splash because we would be spending our 2nd day on that side of the park. On our 2nd MK day, Splash was already gone by the time our window opened up for a 4th FP because of the weather (it was the hottest day of the trip). We didn't end up going on it because we didn't want to wait 60+ minutes for it.

I would recommend hitting up Frontierland at rope drop and use your FPs on the big 3 in FL and TL.

I'm not a rope drop person, so we do all of these by FP+. None are really hard to get as a same day FP+, but the 3 I'd get in advance are 7DMT, Space and PP. The other two you can get same day. Since BTMRR and Splash are right next to each other, get one after the other.

I'd head to Tomorrowland at Rope Drop, do Space (and Buzz, anything else you want to do in that area), then FP Peter Pan and 7DMT, do some other shorter wait things in Fantasyland, then FP either Splash or BTMRR. When we were there in April BTMRR had plenty of same day availability so I'd probably FP Splash, but I think a lot of it depends on how warm the day is.

If you don't want to do Rope Drop, I'd FP Space, PP, and 7DMT.

Last time we were there (Splash Mountain was closed), we
RD Space Mountain, Buzz twice, no line
Haunted Mansion, minimal line
Pirates minimal line
BTMRR FP
PP FP
7DMT FP
finished by noon
Added a few other rides while waiting for FPs to come up.
After the 3rd FP, added 5 more in the afternoon. It took a little while with refreshing.
We were a party of 2.

If Splash Mountain is important and its open and a warm day, I like the above plan:
Rope drop: Big Thunder followed by Splash
1st Fastpass: Peter Pan
2nd Fastpass: 7DMT
3rd Fastpass: Space

There are several excellent plans above! I just wanted to add that the 2 most difficult FPs for us at MK are always 7DMT and PP. We never find same-day FPs for them either. So I'd book those 2 for sure, and then go with one of the awesome plans above!
