Can't choose between Epcot and Sea World

I know they are two COMPLETELY different parks. We are going for a 4 day weekend only.

Our first day, we are doing MGM for the Star Wars stuff. Our last day, we are watching the SW movie and spending money in DTD. I was originally thinking the other two days of our long weekend would be spent at Sea World. However, the reviews of the new ride really have me wishing I could try it. Epcot is my favorite park so it's really hard to choose. If I do Epcot, that leaves me with an extra day with nothing to do. I'm not buying tickets to MGM, Epcot AND Sea World.

I'm staying at AKL but am also considering canceling that too and moving to a Sea World hotel. I'm so unsure and my trip is 16 days away!!!!

Can anyone help me settle down and think rationally? Thanks!!

Sorry...I would probably choose Epcot because it is a totally fun day from dawn til dusk and with an imense variety of things to do!!! SeaWorld is just fish innit? (dont quote me on that, heehee).

Joking aside, I would choose EPCOT because of the vast array of attractions and your familiarity. Also IllumiNations rocks!
Is Mistify still running? I honestly thought it was awful!
But not as bad as the Universal ones though!!!

I love Epcot, and found that my children (5 and 8) REALLY enjoyed it, too (much to my surprise). We did not allow enough time at Epcot!

The boys find out tonight that we are going to Orlando on the 19th (it's a birthday present for my 12 year old). I asked them awhile ago to tell me which parks they liked in order and ALL 3 boys said MGM was their favorite, then Epcot, MK and then Animal Kingdom.

We've done 2 weeklong trips in the last 2 years so we don't really need to go to MK this time. It would be nice if we had more time but there's always next time, I guess.

I agree I definitely think you should go to Epcot. You say it's your favorite park so first off I wouldn't give that up. Second there are so many great shops to buy things in. Seaworld mainly just has stuffed animals and shirts to buy. Third, Epcot has pretty decent rides now! Personally I can't wait to try Soarin'! XD

I must say though if you do decide to go to SeaWorld I would recommend going to sting ray petting area. They feel so cool and it's awesome when you get them to eat something out of your hand! XD The dolphins are worth while but I heard they recently put you a fence so you can't pet them.

Either park though you should definitely have fun, so just enjoy!

i vote epcot. it's my favorite park! i'm a huge sea life fan and i didnt really like sea world except for the stingray feeding area. when we were there the dolphins were mating.
